I don't know what to do about my mouth issues. I have a cavity in my molar and the corner of my tooth broke off, exposing the gum below it. I started oil pulling. It was okay for a few days and then my mouth around that area started to ache. I put clove oil on it and it helped the pain almost immediately. Then my gums around the tooth started swelling and I now have a few pockets of puss. I've tried garlic, tea tree oil, clove oil, oil pulling, bentonite clay, hydrogen peroxide and it doesn't seem to be healing. I don't know how serious this is. I also don't know if it takes time to get rid of the infection or if I'm not being aggressive enough. I really don't feel like chewing another clove of garlic, it burns!

Jaw Cavitation Remedies

Hello, Anyone have Cavitation surgery and know of less invasive ways to get rid of a cavitation. Really nervous to do this but have TMJ and the biological dentist found a cavitation and seems so invasive and makes me sooo anxious. I don't know if I can do it. Any alternative treatments?

I've had cavitation surgery it was not bad. They can give you a pill to take the day of the procedure to make you calm down. Cavitation surgery I had it done twice on five sites in my mouth it is like any dental procedure it may take a little longer, and more scraping, but you are numbed so you will not feel it. If your that scared have them just put you to sleep. Doing a sauna helps draw out poison from an infection and mixing little Dmso with a 1 drop of oregano oil and Grapefruit seed extract in distilled water and swish your mouth with it might help.

There is another option, which is weekly ozone shots at the infected sites, if it fails have surgery. My ND did weekly ozone shots at all infected dental sites The side effects started on day 2 -- a bad headache, brain fog lasted 3 days the 4th day turned into migraine, I felt super weird, my brain off kilter. Second, time I had ozone, again same effects!
( I could not stand how ozone made me feel so had oral surgery. Ozone is great for some people, not for me.

Cavitation surgery in the US? What is that? Peridonatal surgery?
The prices for procedures here are HIGH! Even with a little insurance; pays $8.00 toward a 125.00 filling.
What did this surgery cost you?
Many thanks and good luck.
Pyrogenium (Homeopathic Remedy)
Posted by Nancy (Arizona) on 03/19/2017
I had first read about someone using pyrogenium on Earth Clinic for their tooth issues and would like to hear from someone who has had experience using this product. I have done some research and read that you can cause more health issues if you take too much. I have also seen on a homeopathic site where someone takes 200c. How do you know how much you're suppose to take for a tooth abscess? Can anyone advise? TIA

Two days ago I had a root infection that could have been life threatening. Now one day on on Antibiotics and still in pain, suddenly an Idea came to me: "Look up the name Organic Castor oil, - then find out that a warm pack on the outside of your yaw may relieve and heal the infection". I find this remarkable, because Edgar Casey's Information came from some source unexplained., Not saying that I am a Psychic - but I believe that this thought came from an inexplicable source of help.

Hi Baldev, thanks for your response. Is Sodium Bicarbonate the same as Bicarbonate of Soda, that we in the UK buy in the supermarket?

Thanks for your testimony.
I have had a root canal followed by crowning of my molar tooth a few years ago. After accidentally biting hard an abscess has formed at the base of the tooth between the root and jawline causing my tooth to be lifted slightly out of its socket that causes pain if the upper tooth touches it (nearly quite often it does). Of course the obvious solution would be an extraction but if there's any alternative then I'd be grateful. Would you be able to advise me on my situation? Thanks!

Abscessed tooth
I have been coming across this site about 4 weeks ago, I was searching the Internet for a natural cure for an abscessed tooth (I had my teeth cleaned 4 days prior to it, could that be the cause of the abscess?) and came across this site. I have applied raw garlic and also consumed it, used black and green tea bags with sea salt on the abscessed tooth (I contribute the abscess opening and draining to this remedy), took 2 times 2 tablespoons of Nano Silver for 10 days, 875 mg of organic Grapefruit Seed Extract 2 to 3 times a day for I don't know how long, 5000-9000 mg of Vitamin C (with added Calcium) per day, Vit. D (to improve immune system) 20,000 IU's daily for the last 15 days. Aged Garlic Caps. 3 Caps 2 to 3 times per day for the last 7 days or so, I drink at least 1 cup of green tea per day. I started oil pulling 10 days ago with 1 tablespoon of coconut oil mixed with 5 drops of oregano oil (Carvacrol content above 55%)1 to 2 times per day, 1 to 2 drops of oregano oil on gauze applied directly on tooth, I leave it on over night. About 5 days ago I also started taking alpha lipoic acid 400-500 mg per day. The result: the pain has left, the abscess has opened and drained, but the tooth is still somewhat tender and has still been filling with a little puss every day, that I have to drain. Is there anything else that can be done - besides going to the Dentist? Does anyone have a suggestion??? Feedback is appreciated, thank you!!!
Hydrogen Peroxide, Glue

Hydrogen Peroxide, Glue

I had wondered about using glue I'm glad you took the time to write this out, I've used the zinc oxide powder and clove oil recipe to make temp fillings and even had dentists say they prob could not have done a better job. but as a temp filling they eventually wear out (I've found you need to cure them properly for a few hours and then light use for a day or so after that they last weeks even months, I plan to get one of those uv dental lights off amazon now that they are $30 or so.)
Cheers.

Thank you very much Bill. I'll get a hair analysis done for zinc and copper issues. Are you saying I should not try Ll iodine until this problem is sorted and the zinc and copper are balanced ? Or is it OK to start and hope it helps other issues like Thyroid, hormones etc whilst I'm sorting out copper zinc thing? Thank you again.

tks. for thr info.; I will certainly try it! Between crowns; 1 broke after 30 yrs. and another after 5 yrs.; I'm tapped out; money wise.
I started using Nature's Smile; over 1 yr. ago; brushing my teeth; as I started to have gum problems. this did the trick for it! Stopped having my gums recede! But it isn't cheap. So I used Sensodyne toothpaste; on and off with this.
Quit with Coca Cola; after yrs. of being addicted to it and it didn't help my teeth! Drink reg. Polar gingerale; I have a sweet tooth.
but have a toothache; in what few btm teeth I have left and I grind my teeth! Have for yrs. Got an appliance and I nearly chocked on it from the dentist; yrs. before and threw it out!
Thanks so much! Will see if I can get the coconut cold pressed oil tomorrow!

I took a couple of teaspoons of raw honey in my mouth and kept swishing it around for 20 minutes (procedure same as oil pulling), and the spat it out and rinsed my mouth. Voila! Toothache gone immediately!!

Ozone

calcified tooth root abcess:
Having never heard of oil pulling, I tried a very expensive alternative method to try and save an upper molar which had a calcified root that was infected and could not successfully be root canaled. The gum was sore and spongy. I signed many release forms before taking injections of ozone in the gums around the tooth. This was preceeded by ozone gas in the mouth, ears and nose and followed by vitamin injections. Six treatments a week apart was recommended. It was painful and painful to pay for-$500 per treatment, but the gum was no longer spongy and painful by the end of the treatment. It was recommended to retreat in six months or so. Unfortunately the ozone dried my saliva glands horribly. And after three plus months there is no improvement in my saliva glands, leaving me with horrible dry mouth.
Now I feel twinges of mild pain in that tooth area as well. I am trying the oil pulling as we speak and we see what happens.
Has anyone else tried similar ozone treatments or does anyone have natural remedies for dry mouth. Thank you. CeeCee

How often should I apply the turmeric paste? So far I'm applying once every 30 minutes and I have felt zero relief. Am I putting it on too often or what? Thank you
Neem Seed Oil
Posted by Donna (USA) on 09/12/2007
Just for more clarity: These two teeth had just been cleaned of deep cavities, and temporary caps were on them. I don't think the Neem would have worked if there were still cavities in the teeth. Thanks again.
Neem Seed Oil

I had one case of a woman who got septicemia like conditions (blood poisoning and the blood becomes dark brown) where the bacteria went so deep that it caused a major fever, and headaches. Chemically speaking a low concentration in the blood of aspirin, was found to eliminate or kill the bacteria. Chemically speaking the acetylsalicylates actually digests the thin bacterium walls which causes the condition (and has a potential as antiviral and antibacteria properties like an antibiotics on the merits of it being able to destroy very thin microbial walls) and it was essential that aspirin was used to wash out the cavities cleaning.
One case the teeth where cavities exist was so black that the oil pulling dissolves the bacterium that resulted in streaming black streaks during the die off, which I think is how oil pulling can kill certain cavity causing bacteria, not all mind you, the bacteria plaque are a bit more difficult to remove. I haven't been able to get neem oil, but the idea that it help somewhat is an interesting finding.
I believe that long term acid saliva is one factor which initiates enamel erosion as well as eating sour foods where potassium I think is what controls the saliva pH, while sodium controls the urinary pH, or extracellular fluids, in some ways. I still need to do further experiments in proving this of course!
Thank you for your contribution!
Warm Salt Water

Warm salt water works at onset of pain, I believe it prevents infection, I have yet to have worse pain after salt water, it just goes away. Hydrogen peroxide is an anticeptic and It works for my husband. As far as the antibiotics, unfortunately many people are allergic to penicillin such as myself as well as kefelx, so there is not a whole lot left that works on abscess tooth. There is e-mycin/biaxin, but they give me horrible stomach cramps. I think natural antibiotics are great, they work better for me. I prefer them over the harsh antibiotics that I am not allergic to.
Also, if you take a lot of antibiotics your body builds an imunity to those antibiotics eventually. That is why diseases, flu's, ect., are getting worse, they are becoming resistant to antibiotics. It also strips away the bio-flora in the lining in your stomach, which can cause a long list of health problems itself, yeast infections, reflux..
however, if it doesnt get better and reoccurs frequently you should not play around with not seeing a dentist, a tooth infection untreated can easily infect the blood stream, causing septicemia, weakening the heart, and could kill you.
