Yes… you can put boric acid in a nasal spray bottle. Be sure to adjust dilution ratio.

In the pre-antibiotic era (before 1940) borid acid derived from boron, both were front line defense against microb's. Possessing antibiotic properties against both fungal and bacterial infections.

A good book to read that is free on google books is “Borax the Magic Crystal 1915”. It will teach you how our Grandparents used boron.

Updated dosage!!!!! Of borax per 8oz neti pot (in case you don't see my recent post): for lingering sinus issues.... am now using 1 teaspoon borax + 1/4 teaspoon sea salt in 8 oz neti, twice in each nostril daily.

After almost complete loss of both smell and taste, after 5 years of sinusitis.... fully restoring olfactory function is a pretty big deal...western medicine has nothing remotely as effective, with toxic pharmaceuticals, to be sure...

Using 1/2 teaspoon borax + 1/4 teaspoon sea salt in 8 oz filtered h2o, in neti pot for each nostril, twice daily, for chronic sinus issues (presumably mold triggered) which have plagued me for 5 years, and it's amazing after 1 month have recovered severely compromised olfactory function: I can smell w/80% efficiency, compared with say 10% previously. The borax really works well in neti pots!
