I've suffered for years, often with recruiting pain. ACV helped me manage my pain: 50/50 acv/water solution on a cotton ball, wedged between my cheeks for around 10 minutes. Plus a repeat 10 minutes of I was still in pain.
Then I read the primary cause of inflamed hemorrhoids is pressure. And sitting on the loo for long is the main cause of that pressure. The recommendations are to take 5 to 10 minutes. I was doing that, occasionally a little longer.
I then found an article that said all mammals, the largest to the smallest, take an average of 12 seconds to poop. Watching my dog poop on walks have me an example of this. When he had more to eliminate, he just did two or more 12 second stops/squats between walking. Never stopped there waiting for the shy ones to come.
This fixed my hemmies instantly and completely. From the first time I pooped like my dog, taking 30 seconds or less on the pot, I have not had any inflammation or pain. Gone completely. After years of suffering!
Try it. Sit, push if you must (don't be scared to push, my dog does. Speed is paramount), as soon as you feel a "break", wipe and get up. If you're a dude, don't pee while sitting, finish pooping, wipe, stand and pee.
That's it. That's what healed me. Three weeks now. Went from daily piles and pain to zero. Try it. 30 seconds or less.

One of my favorite things about this site is we are all experiencing or were experiencing stuff, so it's nice to find like-minded people going through the same pain and not feel awkward haha.
I am NEVER constipated, my mom always says she is jealous because I have big bowel movements and I poop anywhere from 2-3 times a day every single day.
Unfortunately I am also a sitter and a video watcher. I think this is my issue for sure because I am definitely NOT 5 to 10 minutes. And I know it's not from constipation because I am so regular!
However, I have had hemorrhoids for most of my life! Don't let anyone tell you it's just from constipation lol. A few months ago I had a wicked hemorrhoid that was making my perineum swell up, it was "raising" the skin on the perineum and creating massive pain. I finally got rid of it via oregano oil and castor oil and freezing small pieces of aloe vera juice and placing it directly on the area. The hemorrhoids were still there but this annoying "raise" in my thin skinned perineum went away.
Then suddenly the other day it came back! I have been using BOTH cortisone and prep h, aloe vera and castor oil. I am desperate. It hurts. I woke up this morning and I do believe it has thrombosed because it is swollen and very hard, the hemorrhoid tissue is no longer "loose" skin, but a hard fleshy thing. The raised skin on my perineum is worse than yesterday and that is no doubt what is causing so much pain. There is almost a "wave" like raise on my perineum so yea that is most definitely the pain I am experiencing.
I am going to add ACV I guess and then after it is gone AGAIN this time (last time it lasted almost a week), no more videos LOL. I swear.
