Medium sized clove, peeled, shaped, sliced lightly to release garlic oils, coat with oil, insert. and usually next day's bm out it comes. It works wonders for me, and have had good reviews from other persons I have shared this with. I am a colon cancer survivor, and a recent colonoscopy showed internal and external hemorrhoids. Back to garlic, externals reduced significantly after 2 treatments 1 week apart. I am 79, and this fix I got from an old remedy book my mother had years ago.

For hemorrhoids

It is well know in my country of origin that if you peel a small potato and use the center of it to make a suppository like shape and insert it in your anus, you will cure internal hemorrhoids. I saw how it cured a close friend of mine back then.

My husband developed really bad hemorrhoid recently. We tried every remedy I'd find on earthclinic, but nothing seems to work. It lasted for almost a month!

One day I searched earthclinic again and noticed the posts for castor oil. I bought organic, food grade oil and he started using it. We were careful, applying a couple of drops each time, 3 times a day. It shrank the hemorrhoid greatly pretty fast, in a half of the day the pain was less and the size became much smaller, it worked like a miracle. In a day the shrank piece fell off. We were shocked!!! I talked to the doctor, she said that it is possible...Because that piece fell off he had some blood, we healed the wound with neosporin, just applied it several times a day. Finally our suffering stopped!!! After a very short time everything was over!

The best results I've gotten so far is mixing ACV in water and then adding some guar gum, because then you can apply it like a gel.

I use quite a low amount of ACV relative to the water, just so it doesn't sting. Maybe 1 part ACV to 4 or 5 parts water. I'm not sure exactly. It doesn't seem to matter too much as long as it doesn't sting. And then I add a fairly small amount of guar gum and it makes this gel that I can easily apply and it can stay working for a long time. I apply it maybe twice a day but it's super effective so I can be fairly lazy with applications and still be OK.

I used to use rutin and also Anusol but both stopped working after a while. So far the ACV is working fine :)

Hope that helps someone!

I get the H occassionally for no apparent reason and have been wandering round with my latest addition for bout a month. It was the size of a small grape and I was starting to panic. I had used this site before and it finally occurred to me to look up a cure. I put a mixture of 50/50 water and apple cider vinegar in a glas and dipped a corner of a cotton pad in the mixture (so it was not soaking wet) and placed it directly on the pile. I put some toilet paper in my underwear to keep it in place and slept with it on. This morning it is completely gone. This is crazy. I am so happy.

Oh, and top tip - you can buy any apple cider vinegar, it does not need to be organic or with the mother or the source or whatever it is that people say. It worked with my 79 cent supermarket purchase! Wooo thank you thank you thank you.

I never had a hemorrhoid until the birth of my daughter, and ever since then I am always just one bad bm away from the grapes of wrath.

I'd tried several different treatments with minimal results; tucks (witch hazel) pads, shark liver oil creams, sits baths. Out of desperation one night I tried the Apple Cider Vinegar treatment and was shocked that everything I read was true. My new hemi has shrunken by half the next morning, and was almost completely gone after a second treatment.

What I did: grab a wet wipe and squeeze it mostly dry. Fold into a 2” square. Soak the wipe with raw w/mother ACV, and gently squeeze excess dripping out. Tuck into your cheeks so it is position on the hemorrhoid (s). Sleep overnight with the wipe in. Remove and rinse in the morning. Boom, magical shrinkage!

I have had a hemmy about the size of an elongated jelly bean with a few other lesser clusters for about two weeks. For a while I was just using Prep H and other balms and salves and white knuckling my way through it. Eventually I started doing hot or warm baths w Epsom salts and Tucks. I also tried topical cypress oil. Baths and Tucks helped soothe the pain and itching temporarily. It seemed like the salves and Prep H were just kind of making a gooey mess and not really helping my skin.

One night I was out partying (this is all during Mardi Gras to be honest), and passed out in a bathtub while doing a routine bath and was there for 4 hours. The next morning, my roids were a lot worse and the skin of my butthole was more raw and sensitive. I think all that soaking really messed me up. It was suddenly even harder to walk without feeling like my skin was tearing - I could barely sit, stand, walk or lie down.

After a couple days of that, I tried a poultice of honey to heal up the skin. Honey worked super, super well to heal up my broken skin, but seemed to make the swelling worse.

After a while I realized I should probably stop taking baths because wounds need to be dry to heal.

I started doing ACV. I experienced a lot of burning and itching at first, and like others said, it lessened up or went away after maybe 5-10 mins. I think the burns a lot less when you don't have broken skin. My advice is basically to get strategic about what you're using for what purpose. If you need to heal your broken skin, spend less time in the bath, keep your skin clean and dry, and moisturize with coconut oil and consider doing a honey treatment. If you're trying to take down swelling, REALLY ease your pain, increase your mobility, and hopefully shrink your lil inflamed roids, do ACV treatments.

After 4 days of ACV, I can walk normally again and get up from sitting without fear of extreme pain. My smaller hemmies are shrinking but the big one is almost the same size as it was, just less engorged and mostly numb unless they experience friction or pulling from movement.

Sorry to ramble but I thought this could be enlightening to someone.

Can't effing wait for them to be gone completely.

I think the bigger one isn't shrinking as easily because before it swelled it was kind of warped scar tissue from a past hemorrhoid to begin with. I think it's not absorbing the ACV in the same way as the rest of my bum, sadly.

Also, I think it may be better to dilute at more of of 1:3 ACV/water ratio if your skin still feels way too sensitive. If there are parts that can take it, 1:2 should be fine.

GOOD LUCK ALL OF YOU

Greetings.

An intro about myself, I am a board certified dental surgeon. Very interested in natural healing.

I was psoriatic for the past 20years, and through research healed myself through dietary changes and through supplements (multivitamin, fish oil capsules, EPA+DHA, EFA, Bone mineral formulas, Vitamin C, and magnesium)

I had internal haemorrhoids for the past 5 years, and after I started taking supplements it vanished, but last month symptoms started again, and it usually comes out during defecation and it could be reduced with finger pressure, that went on for a few months and all of a sudden I had a bigger prolapse and it couldn't be reduced. I consulted a general surgeon, who told me it was a grade 4 internal haemorrhoid and it needs surgical removal. I was not interested, opened you tube to hear many testimonials about garlic suppositories for healing haemorrhoids, as I believed in natural healing, but still being trained in conventional medicine did not have complete faith in it and decided to try it half heartedly-

NOTE: I never had constipation, because I usually eat natural diet rich in fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds. I also drink sufficient water, never take milk and it's products, and never eat processed foods.

I placed a single clove of garlic as a suppositorie for ten days, ate 3 cloves of raw garlic every night, also placed garlic as a poultice (crushed garlic) with coconut oil in a gauze directly on the popped out haemorrhoid lesion. And sometimes aloe Vera gel as a poultice. I couldn't believe myself, 10days- my symptoms vanished and haemorrhoids completely gone! Amazing, what a miracle.

I believed in the power of Rutin from reading other users comments. However, I was expecting faster results since I saw no change after about 10 days. After doing more research, I found that you can take much more than the 500mg per day that others have said. So, I upped the dosage to two 500mg pills morning and night (2,000mg per day). Note - I also read that you should take 500-1,000mg of vitamin C as rutin can interfere with your body's ability to absorb vitamin C from foods. Within 2 days of changing the dosage the my Hs are almost 100% gone!

More than a month ago I posted the relief given me for the curse of hemorrhoids by the use of an Inversion Swing, an absolute godsend for me. I also mentioned how the use of Rutin had dramatically stopped my blood loss at every bowel movement. Now the amazing thing is that rutin seems to have also stopped my getting hemorrhoids in the first place.

As a sufferer of hemmorhoids for more than 20 years I am absolutely stunned by the effectiveness of this supplement. My hemorrhoids weren't severe, they were catastrophic!!! They dominated every aspect of my daily life. I am still in a state of denial that something as simple & cheap as rutin could have had this effect on me. I can't guarantee that it would have the same effect on others, but would plead with other sufferers to give it a try. one 500mg. tablet twice a day did it for me. Ended the bleeding in 5-7 days, & the hemmorhoids in about 2 weeks. Miraculous! What can I say other than Rutin for President!

In recent years I've been plague with very painful hemorrhoids. I've had them off and on since before I graduated from high school (1968) but hadn't suffered from them for years until about eight years ago. Nothing I tried worked. I would lay on the bed trying to find a position where I wasn't in pain. My girlfriend did a computer research and found that a supplement called Rutin has shown promise for relief from hemorrhoids. It took me close to two weeks for them the completely take care of the problem. At some point I quite taking the Rutin and nearly over a week they returned. I start the Rutin again and again a few days later my pain was gone. I did this pattern of stopping and starting taking Rutin and always with the same results. I finally got smart and take two tables a day and haven't had any problem since. Believe me when I say I had a bad case of hemorrhoids, AND, believe me when I tell you that Rutin works.

Turmeric

I have had an anal fissure along with internal piles for the last year. I cured myself for 5 months and have had some relapses in between. I initially started using the nitroglycerin ointment prescribed by the doctors, for 6 weeks to widen blood vessels and allow the area to heal. I got the headaches that were a side effect but nothing worse than the pain of the fissure and hemorrhoids. But a month after the fissure re tore and got the piles back to. I guess this was because I had high rectal pressure and a very dry anus.

So through experimenting I found turmeric powder mixed with either of these things; aloe Vera, castor oil, olive oil, tea tree oil, witch hazel, vitamin e oil - was helping. I would apply it directly to my fissure and piles every day once in the morning and evening. Lay on my side and let it soak in. Tumeric is a god send!!!

Occasionally I would crush half a piece of garlic coat it in oil and put this on my bum.. I wouldn't leave it on for longer than 10 minutes. I tried the apple cider vinegar topically which actually didn't work for me but I think that's because I have an internal pile so will have to drink the apple cider vinegar in water.

I have bought rutin and vitamin b6. Rutin I eat twice a day and vitamin b6 once. This apparently strengthens the colon wall which is what you want. I have upped my vitamin c and cod liver oil which I have found helps. Also, I am anemic which affects my red blood cells inevitably affecting the healing and inflammation. So it is important to know if your iron levels are ok..

I have upped my fibre (research soluble and insoluble fibre) I drink loads of water, I have found apples to be great. Started to drink green, peppermint tea which is good for your gut. Also eating garlic in yogurt(probiotic) 2-4 times a week. Having 2 sitz baths a day and massaging my bum, putting a hot water bottle on my bum so that I am relaxing muscles so that I can heal.. Changing your mindset is also important. I know it's easier said than done but try not to stress. I sit in a squatting position and always make sure my bum is clean but moisturised and lathered with Vaseline or aloe vera or oil because it promotes healing.. oddly enough I didn't find coconut oil worked for me because it acted as a coating but didn't moisturise or allow me to heal as it was acting as a barrier. I think keeping in the routine of doing these things is important to prevent reoccurrence.

Here is my story (It's long, so please bear with me! ). I am probably the only person who had a "self inflicted" hemorrhoid! Let me tell you why! I am one of those people who have been struggling with weight for a long long long time but not strong enough to continue with a strict diet and exercise regime for more than a week. So I bought a Chinese Herbal Laxative tea, which (according to the makers) is pretty strong. I took that few months ago for a week, and other than running to the toilets few times a day, no serious side-effect happened. Now, after 2/3 moths, I again wanted to consume that tea for another week, and again I drank that tea for 5 straight days, every day on an empty stomach. By the 5th day I went to the toilet so many times that my "...." (you know what! ) area got really strained and I developed a hemorrhoid. Now, remember, I wasn't suffering from constipation or diarrhea naturally, neither was I having any problem evacuating on my own. However, the first day was uncomfortable and I had some burning sensation. But by the third and fourth day it got so bad that I couldn't sit, stand, or walk without feeling pain. The area got really swollen and I was having all the symptoms of a hemorrhoid. I wanted to kill myself for going overboard with that laxative tea. But the damage was done, and I was frantically looking for a natural remedy. Mind you, I am one of 'those' who believe in natural remedy and avoid going to the Doctors as long as possible.

And after numerous search I found the Earth Clinic website and read all the comments of people who have had success with various natural remedies for this condition. Most of the remedies seemed appropriate for constipation (which I wasn't suffering from). I tried coconut oil in the external area for one day, and it didn't seem to work form me. I was using organic, pure virgin coconut oil but I guess that wasn't apt for my situation. So as my last resort, I bought some black peppercorn on the night of July 14,2016. I had my first dose that night. After taking the first 5/6 peppercorn, I felt significantly less pain within an hour or two. The next morning my pain was 75% gone. Even though most people suggested to take 5/6 peppercorn on empty stomach once in the morning and once at night, I found from another website that the dose can be increased much more, and one can consume 20-25 peppercorn a day. I did the same thing two days. Today is July 17,2016 (morning), and I am pleased to inform you that I absolutely no pain, no bleeding (as of this morning), almost no swollen gland. Evacuation was easy this morning, and I hope within a day or two it should be Completely alright.

Therefore, YES YES YES... it DOES work like miracle... and you guys were Godsend to me :-)! Thanks for your Honest review and comments, and this is the very first time I am writing a review about anything online because I know it is true. So anyone who is suffering from this condition, please take 5/6 black peppercorn each time and a total of 20/25 Black peppercorn every day until your situation gets completely cured.

Collinsonia Root

My problem is so bad I came close to bleeding to death a few times this year. I've bled for 8 years, progressively getting worse each year. Have had to have blood transfusion, iron infusions, etc. They scheduled surgery for the end of January. I had two weeks to turn this around (the surgery is nothing short of barbaric and has high rate of risks and long-painful recovery).

A natural-doctor friend told me about Collinsonia Root. I read the comments on Amazon and they were quite impressive. For example, a guy had problems for 20 years, started taking Collinsonia and has had no problem for the last 20. I did a progressive experiment. I first tried ingesting 5 black peppercorns in the morning and at night. Within 24 hours the bleeding was 3/4 less. I added Collinsonia Root and Fargelin (a chinese herb) five days later. Both are said to strengthen the colon wall to prevent hemorrhoids and to shrink the tissue. I've been doing all three for three weeks and the tissue has shrunk. I had massive amounts so it will take time.

But I have had bowel movements with no blood at all...THAT is a miracle. The Collinsonia Root is inexpensive and you take one pill 1-3 times a day. The Fargelin is little round, black pills. You take 4 three times a day. My doctors words were, "I'm astonished by the results." Surgery has been canceled :)

I have had what have been called "historical" hemorrhoids (yes, by a nurse after having babies). I have bled for almost 8 years. I have been weeks away from bleeding to death this year. Last month, I was pouring blood. I was told my only option was that brutal surgery (invented in the 1920's) and because my problem was SO bad, I'd be debilitated for about 4 weeks with the real possibility of having to use a catheter for a few weeks and possible additional surgery of stenosis of the anal opening. I stumbled upon this site and WOW! I tried the peppercorns. I had nothing to lose. Within 24 hours the bleeding was about 3/4 less (they figure I was losing 1/8 of a cup every time. In about a week I actually had bowel movements without blood. I canceled the surgery. Now, three weeks later, I have more non-blood bowel movements than with (and if there is, it's like 1tsp). Pain after bowel movements is practically nill.

Last week, I also added Fragelin, a chinese herb and Collinsonia Root, a supplement, that are said to strengthen the colon wall. THANK YOU....Oh, and my husband has shared my buns with the neighbors...well, the information about them. In one family, the 40-something year old son, father and grandfather all have this problem. They used the peppercorns and they said they are also having great results.

Use cold water therapy. Dip your privates in cold water for at least two minutes up to four times a day. Either fill the tub with just enough cold water to cover the down under, or find a roomy bucket to sit in. I tried a plastic sitz bath from Amazon but prefer the tub. A roomy bucket was really good but was cutting into my hips. Result: no pain and healing. Dry well afterwards and put up with the undressing necessary.

No cost involved. Namaste, Om

Multiple Remedies

Hello! I am a 26 year old male in Colorado and recently got my first hemorrhoid. At first I didn't know what to do, I didn't know what it was, all I knew was that something was wrong.

So, after a lot of research I found out that I had a hemorrhoid, which originally started as an internal hemorrhoid, but became external after a few days. From what I learned, most external hemorrhoids are actually called thrombosed hemorrhoids, which are basically a blood clot. The important thing to know is that there are two parts to a hemorrhoid, the actual blood clot (usually at the root of discomfort, essentially it's the clotted blood vessel in your rectum), and the swollen hemorrhoid tissue around it. I will explain what I mean a little further down.

So, here is what I did:

1) I started with Preparation H hemorrhoid cream that you can find at Walgreens, along with medicated wipes that contained aloe vero & with hazel. NOTE: In my experience, the Preparation H did NOTHING, literally nothing, and I felt like it actually inflamed the hemorrhoid and made it worse.

2) I read a lot about Apple Cider Vinegar, so I gave it a shot. I got cotton balls, pretty much soaked them in the ACV, and tucked them right up again the hemorrhoid so there was constant contact, as well as enough ACV to consistently soak in. THIS WAS HUGE! Within about 30 minutes I felt relief, and I kept using it for about a week.

Here is what I learned about ACV, that it works wonders with a normal external hemorrhoid because it greatly reduces swelling of the hemorrhoid, and in many cases if the hemorrhoid is not thrombosed, it will go away with just ACV. However, in my case, I was able to assess every day what was different. Before I started using the ACV, the hemorrhoid was about the size of a dime, soft, and just straight up uncomfortable. What I learned after a week of ACV is that it heavily reduces the swollen hemorrhoid tissue, but did not completely take care of it because I had a thrombosed, or blood clot hemorrhoid.

So, how do you know if you have a thrombosed hemorrhoid? In my experience the blood clot hemorrhoid was small, about the size of a black bean, it was hard, still, somewhat purple in color, and I could tell there was a lot of pressure just in that tiny bean-like hemorrhoid.

From there, I switched my focus to figure out how to remedy the blood clot, because technically the swollen hemorrhoid tissue was pretty much gone. So I did a lot of research and found something called Horse Chestnut, which comes in a cream or pill form. Basically this is a super old school, natural herb that has been used for hundreds of years to treat varicose veins, which are a form of blood clot.

If you were like me, you read Horse Chestnut and were like "what the hell? where do I get that", and I was able to find it at a Vitamin Shoppe, and I was told they sell it at pretty much every pharmacy except Walgreens or the big Walmart like chains.

So I started using the Horse Chestnut extract, which I took two 200mg pills every day, and started to see some difference. I also used Castor Oil and applied it directly to the area, it didn't do much for swelling/getting rid of the hemorrhoid, but it did sooth it and make it feel less noticeable.

About that same time, I found a product online called Hem-Relief. I am and will never be a salesman, but I strongly advise getting a bottle just to have, because it knocks out hemorrhoids so quick! I picked up a bottle of Hem-Relief 7 days before I left for a cruise in Honduras, and started taking 2 pills 3 times a day. By the time I got on the cruise, I didn't even notice my hemorrhoid, didn't feel it, and when I did think about it, checked it out, it was 100% gone.

Hem-Relief combines many different natural herbs, along with the Horse Chestnut I talked about above, and I really gave me results in less than a week. I assume that if you just stuck with Horse Chestnut you'd be ok, but I know all of you reading this want hemorrhoids to go away ASAP, and realistically $40 for Hem-Relief to make them go away is wayyyy worth it.

So here are my bullet points for getting rid of hemorrhoids:

- Put your feet up on a 6" tall box or stool when you poop. Squatting is the natural was to defecate, it just puts less strain and pushing on your muscles.

-Use Apple Cider Vinegar to relieve external hemorrhoid swelling. Soak a cotton ball and stick it up there, go about your business for about an hour, take it out.

-Use Caster Oil to each and sooth discomfort during normal daily activities.

-Keep using the medicated wipes and keep that area clean. Hemorrhoids can flare up very quickly if not constantly addressed.

-Invest in some Hem-Relief, or Horse Chestnut. This will immensely help the blood clot involved with hemorrhoids.

-Be patient and know that you're not the only one. I've heard some 75% of people get at least 1 hemorrhoid in their life, and trust me, they suck.

Hope my experience and wisdom helps. Cheers.

I just tried the castor oil for my hemorrhoids, and within 2 hours, the anal tissue has completely shrunk and withdrawn back inside (it was inflamed and swollen). I still have pain, so I am looking forward to seeing how fast it completely heals. I am amazed that I did not know this sooner. I just gave birth 5 days ago and have been suffering with hemorrhoids caused by labor.

All I did was apply the castor oil on a square cotton pad and press it onto the area and leave it there. I will continue applying it and hopefully I am hemorrhoid free soon.

On another note, I also take magnesium and blackstrap molasses daily to prevent constipation. It is a miracle cure for anyone suffering from hemorrhoids and/or constipation because it causes you to become regular and softens the stool naturally.

ACV for hemorrhoids...amazing. I'm a 57 yo healthy male. I suffer from internal and external. Tried numerous other methods over the last 8 years. Flare ups are kept mostly in check, but if my diet sways, or I overexert myself, I'm miserable for days on end, starting from discomfort felt in my anus. Not to mention, it's so embarrassing. I started treating with ACV yesterday after reading numerous posts on here and different treatment methods. The change has been incredible. Yes, is stings, but it doesn't last long and not as severe as the piles. I read about numerous people using cotton balls, but I will say, my method is pretty simple and not messy. I have a small narrow jar (from sesame seeds/spice) with ACV/Water 2:1 ratio mix that I keep next to the toilet, fold over 3 sheets of TP, place on top of the open jar, flip to soak, then place that up directly on the area, tuck up in gently and lean on one cheek for a few minutes to soak in. Remove that one and do once again. All flush-able. I'm doing that after every bowel movement and a couple other times during the day. The swelling has gone way down, the pain is gone and hardly any bleeding now. Keep in mind, I had a steady stream of blood come out for days while trying to go poo from the internal roids and external were bleeding also. I'm truly amazed. Not something fun to talk about, but why isn't this more widely know??? Please try ACV, you won't be disappointed.

After having my thyroid removed, almost two years ago, my whole system has been out of whack. My doc re-evaluated all my meds as I was seriously in need of some help, but the side effect of this was constant diarrhea. ( I just realised the cause ) Sometimes I go 3 times a day, the constant pain and dread of pooing razor blades has sapped my energy and joy for so long! I have been in total agony for 8 months with roids that creams would not fix. I tried wheatgrass which helped after about 6 weeks but not competely as I ran out and they were worse than ever.

I read this Apple Cider Vinegar natural treatment last week and have tried it out of desperation. Finally something that works! I keep a small bottle of it near the loo and wipe myself with it whenever I go, and took the suggestion of a cotton ball soaked in acv and used that three times a day. It sure did sting for a while but after the roid shrunk in size after about 4-5 days I realised there was another one there behind it that was causing the recent pain. Now it too is finally shrinking with acv! Even wiping myself with it on some tp means for the first time in months I've been able to clean myself properly. I've also added it to some foods and been sipping a few teaspoons in a drink bottle as often as I think of it. ACv really does work and it's been such a relief! I hope it cures them completely which may take another week at this rate but after what we go thru it's worth it. So very worth trying! I hope it works for all other readers who give it a go.

My husband began using blackstrap molasses about 3 weeks ago after reading that it would shrink Hemorrhoids. He was skeptical but faithfully took his full tablespoon, one in the morning and one at night (plain, right off the spoon! ) I asked him how it was going after the second week and he told me, "great! " He said that the hemorrhoids were really going away and that he was going to continue taking it because it was better than having the "rubber band surgery" (which we have both had! )

I decided to join him and also began taking one tablespoon in the morning and one in the evening as well. After only 4 days I can report that my hemorrhoids have shrunken so much that I feel that I have had surgery again - unbelievable! We are both true believers of this product and will continue to take the usual dose until the Hemorrhoids are gone, then we may go to only one tablespoon each morning. Another benefit, it has helped keep us "regular" - a nice benefit for people in their 60's who lead very busy lives! We have even recommended it to our daughters who have recently had babies and are suffering from Hemorrhoids - they have both begun taking the blackstrap molasses, too. We used the unsulphured, no reason other than that is what we found at the grocery store.

If there are other benefits, I'll report on that as we realize them. I have my annual physical coming up and I am curious at what some of my test results will show.

Thank you for this wonderful site!

(I apologize in advance for the TMI). Have to add a big YES to the coconut oil remedy. I was on opiate painkillers for 2 weeks following wisdom teeth removal. I became severely constipated and was barely passing any stool, then, to make matters worse, yesterday I developed a painful hemmorhoid which made it impossible to pass any stool! I went to the store and bought Preparation H and Tucks suppositories but they provided little to no relief. I was still experiencing swelling and burning and my constipation was so bad that I couldn't do anything except for lie in bed motionless or lay in a fetal position. I really thought I would have to go to a hospital. Desperate, I tried to think of some other remedies I could try. I always keep a jar of coconut oil (make sure to use a brand that is organic, unrefined, and closest to its natural state) around, so I decided to make my own DIY coconut oil suppositories. Here is what I did:

1) Find a wrapper to use as the mold for your suppository. This can be an old suppository wrapper or, in a pinch, you can use tin foil.

2) Use coconut oil in its solidified state. If your coconut oil is too warm and it has liquified, pop it in the refrigerator or freezer until it has solidified. It will be easier to mold that way.

3) Spoon some coconut oil into the suppository mold. Don't worry about it being perfect the first time, the goal is to just fill the suppository mold. NO DOUBLE DIPPING into the coconut oil tin, use a clean spoon, especially if there is any possibility that the spoon has come into contact with any feces.

4) Pop your suppository into the refrigerator or freezer for at least a few minutes so that the coconut oil solidifies further.

5) Take the coconut oil suppository out, use your clean fingers to remold the coconut oil into a "bullet" shape (it doesn't have to be perfect), and put back in the refrigerator or freezer for at least a few minutes more. The cool temperature is especially soothing, so keep it in longer if you want it to be colder.

6) When you are ready to insert the suppository, take the coconut oil out of the fridge or freezer. Try not to touch it until the very moment when you are ready to insert it, because it melts very quickly once it touches your hands or body. Insert the suppository quickly into the rectum.

Aaaaah, instant relief!!! The cooling, lubricating, anti-inflammatory nature of the coconut oil goes to work almost instantly. Every hour, I alternated these cooling coconut oil suppositories with warm baths with epsom salt. Within 3-4 hours of alternating the suppositories and baths, I was able to administer a mineral oil enema and pass a bowel movement comfortably without too much pain and with absolutely no bleeding. I will continue to use these suppositories until the hemmorhoid is completely healed and will try the ACV remedy tomorrow. This is a great alternative to chemical-laden, ineffective suppositories and I hope it helps someone else who is suffering from this painful and debilitating condition!! (P. S. There is a natural suppository on the market made from coconut and vitamin E oil that can be found in major health food stores in the U. S. - can't list the name because EC probably won't let me, I haven't tried it but I'm sure it could be helpful. It's from one of the biggest natural fish oil/vitamin E oil manufactorers). Good luck everyone!

I have been in excrutiating pain for five days due to several prolapsed thrombosed hemorrhoids (gotta love childbirth). Last night it got so bad that I couldn't sit, lay, stand, sleep, etc. -- despite heavy pain meds, sitz baths, Prep H, etc. (If it had been any other illness, I would have had my husband take me to the emergency room, but I was too embarassed. ) In desperation, I Googled "hemorrhoid home remedies" and came upon this website. I saw how many people swear that cayenne pepper tea cures hemorrhoids, so I thought what the heck, I'll try it.

I went to the kitchen and made myself a cup of cayenne pepper tea at around 3 am. I was worried that it would upset my stomach, but it didn't. The only thing I noticed was that it sort of burned my throat on the way down, but it wasn't anything painful. When I woke up this morning, I noticed my hemorroids weren't quite as painful but thought that it could just be a coincidence. Nevertheless, I drank another cup of cayenne pepper tea this morning. This afternoon, I drank another glass. Guess what? It's 10:15 pm and my hemorrhoids are completely GONE in less than 24 hours! I've never believed in homeopathic/herbal remedies before, but I am definitely now a convert. I don't know how or why, but the cayenne pepper worked. Try this before pursuing surgery!

Fast Hemmorrhoid cure

When I had babies it really brought on the hemmorrhoids. I tried creams, pads, espom salt soaks, sitting on pillows. I had to suffer 'til it went away. Nothing helped. Years later I was using the Edgar Cayce castor oil felt pad method on my abdomen for another issue and on a whim decided to try it on my hemmorrhoids. It worked! Gone in 20 minutes. This is what I do now when I occaisonally get hemmorrhoids. The ticket is not to get them in the first place... But childbirth.... Fiber dosen't fix that! Ha Ha

Treatment: Tear one sheet of toilet paper off the roll. Fold it in half and then half again into a small square.

Open the bottle of caster oil and set on a stable surface. Unfold the toilet paper to half open. Hold the paper on the top of the open bottle and hold them together and tip the bottle on to the paper so you can carefully pour about 1/4 tsp on to the paper. (be careful not to get on your clothes or carpet as it can stain)

Apply the paper directly to the hemmorrhoid, between your bums. Pull up your pants and go about your business.

The next time you sit on the toilet the paper should fall out in to the toilet, or take it out yourself. If the hemmorrhoid is not gone with the first treatment, repeat until it is. I have had results as fast as twenty minutes!

My 83 year young mother recently had a hip replacement. After a few days she told me she had hemmorrhoids. I said I have a treatment for that, why didn't you tell me? I did the above and handed her the paper that she applied to the hemmorrhoid while laying in bed. Her next trip to the toilet she said it was all gone! The next day I asked her if she needed another treatment and she said it never came back and she was so surprised.

I wish I had this when I had my babies. I know this will help a lot of people.

Anti-Candida Diet

I know everyone out there isn't going to like this, but hemorrhoids are symptoms of CANDIDA overgrowth. That's the reason that cleansing the area with apple cider vinegar is often effective - it balances the pH because although it's an acid, it has an alkalizing effect. Drinking apple cider vinegar also helps to alkalize your blood, but you need to eat other alkalizing foods too (and minimize acid forming foods) to experience true alkalization. So, another effective remedy that will not burn the way apple cider vinegar does, is one that also works for women's yeast infections. It was given to me by a conventional doctor and I modified it. The doctor told me that filling a capsule (which you can purchase at a pharmacy or at a health food store) with BORIC ACID and then inserting the capsule into the vagina will balance the pH and stop yeast infections. He said to do it every day that a yeast infection is present, and then once a week afterwards. Tou can buy boric acid at a pharmacy without a prescription. It's a powder. Since I have done this many years ago, I haven't experienced a single yeast infection (touch wood) and I've stopped using the capsules. Later on, I discovered that mixing the boric acid in coconut oil can be used for treating yeast AND hemorrhoids (mix it into a paste and store it in a small glass jar - I use extra virgin, organic coconut oil). The hemorrhoids you are experiencing are really just a kind of yeast infection in your anus. So, if you have hemorrhoids, you need to first look at your diet. Eliminate the easier forms of sugar - stop eating white flour and processed foods - spelt is a DELICIOUS substitute for white flour, and increase your intake of vegetables, particularly fresh. They will add bulk to push food quickly through your system. Drink lots of water, cut out pop and sugary drinks, and add a bit of fresh lemon to your water. Lemon juice will help to alkalize your system too. For fiber, grind a couple of tablespoons of flax seeds in a coffee grinder (I have one dedicated just for flax seeds) and mix with water. You can add a tiny amount of psyllium for bulk, but make sure it's organic, because psyllium is very highly sprayed with pesticides. Take a good probiotic, such as Garden of Life, FAITHFULLY, to repopulate the good flora in your system. Consider doing a gentle cleanse - one where you work up to only green vegetable juices and water for a few days (along with ground flax seeds for fiber). Also, take a good magnesium supplement to soften and regulate your stools. You will know when you are taking enough magnesium when you go number two several times a day but it's not liquid. Prune juice is an excellent addition too. A great magnesium supplement is Calm by Peter Gillingham. Please let me know how this works for you!
