My hemmy hurts after apple cider vinegar use. I feel it definitely got smaller. Def mix water with it to dilute the potency of the vinegar. It does work somewhat

If it worsens, I recommend to dilute it with water, try an organic brand or stop using it all together. Try a virgin/organic coconut oil. Coconut oil worked for me. It worked instantly. Soak a cotton ball or q tip and use at night preferably. I'm out of the oil and need more so I'm looking for alternatives.

I have tried the garlic clove suppository. It worked for a couple of days. They are back. I'm trying the ACV now. Seems to be helping. I want to give the garlic another go. It may take more than one time.

All I have to say is I am SOOOOOO glad I thought about ACV and stumbled across this site!! I went to see the Dr last week and was going to do banding and ended up almost passing out lol so they scheduled me to go to a clinic where they would put me under anesthesia to do it.. Called me back the next day to tell me that they wouldn't do that procedure at the center and so the Dr changed the procedure for a Hemmorhoidectomy...since the clinic would do this.. I was livid to say the least! I started using ACV late yesterday and can already tell a difference, thank God!!
Thank you everyone for your posts and being open about it even though this is a awkward thing to talk about, lol. It has been reassuring and also enlightening. I wish you all the best, and I am going to now stock up on ACV for everything!!! =)

Hey And73w! Just wanted to point out for others that ACV is an exceptional remedy for assisting blood clotting processes (in addition to helping the opposite - thick, viscous blood). If the area is bleeding, it will likely sting more, but it will also sterilize the area (in so many words; those concerned about the bacteria/etc present in vinegar can simmer it on the stove for a couple minutes, then cool it and apply). Except for in some older people, I've only had success with using vinegar on smaller open wounds, and I can't recall a single side effect other than reddening and stinging, maybe a little skin irritation for one lady.
Hope that helps!

I recently read somewhere that putting raw Apple Cider Vinegar on your hemorrhoids is very soothing and helps them to heal quickly. I had a flair up, and nothing I was using was working (and I only use natural items) So, I grabbed a Viva Paper towel (the softest I could find), doused it with a bunch of _____s Apple Cider Vinegar and then went in to apply it after cleaning the area gently.
Wow, it burns some, however, in about 5 minutes I was already feeling relief and I was completely over my hemorrhoids within hours. (and one more additional treatment)
So I can emphatically suggest using Apple Cider Vinegar in this way.

YEA F0R APPLE CIDER VINEGAR FOR HEMORROIDS. I found that using a q tip soaked in Apple Cider Vinegar was much easier for me due to swelling and tightness. I simply used a few soaked q tips to clean area after bowel movements and at bedtime with very slight insertion, half inch at the most, cured mine. I had a lot of bleeding, pain, swelling, etc. And cold not use anything larger than a q tip. It has taken about two weeks, with much improvement in just a few days. For good measure I have done some extra treatments during the day up to three times a day. I avoid coffee that is too strong which causes forced movements.

Apple cider vinegar as a remedy for hemorrhoids...
I have been in excrutiating pain for over 3 weeks and I've tried everything there was on the counter at the drug store. Gone through way too much prep-H with no benifit. TMI - big hemerrhoid on the outside. I couldn't sit, stand, or walk without almost bursting into tears, had difficult time getting to sleep because of the pain and if I coughed you would think someone had just stabbed me and I would cry for a while. I don't have insurance but was considering going to the doctor anyway (which is a BIG deal for me). I finally found your site yesterday and decided to try the apple cider vinegar as a last resort. Last night I bought a sitz bath and the vinegar (as I had seen some people have bad reaction to the vinegar so I wanted to take it slow and dilute it some) I put in the warm water and added about a cup (maybe a little less) of the vinegar plus I sprinkled a little bit of epsom salt into the water too, sat for about 15 minutes, had no burning just relief, and then went to lay down. (I had tried taking warm baths before but the pressure of sitting in the tub combined with the pressure of getting in and out of the tub was just too much and it didn't help anyway) Within 2 hours of the sitz bath I had the first relief I have felt in a very long time. The pain went almost completely away. Sigh... I did the sitz bath again right before bed with the same ingredients and this morning I got out of bed without having to take my time and fight against the pain. So far today at work I only have minimal discomfort wich is a HUGE step forward. I can actually do my job without breaking down crying every hour. The hemorrhoid has shrunk to a quarter of it's size before. I am so excited at the results so far and I feel I can actually have some hope now. I will be back to let you know how things are going next week. Thanks so much for the information. You've been a God send!
To everyone out there who is reading these comments and thinking that it's all balogna, please give it a try, it can't hurt and the benifits are so worth it.

I've suffered from hemorroids for over a year now. I have found that making ice cubes with apple cider vinger and water and placing them in the anus have helped greatly in the past week. They are still present but slowly feel like they are going away. I've all so been taking diosmin/hesperidin supplement which also seems to help.

I tried ACV too after reading all the testimonies here but after two days applying ACV it gets worse and more swollen. It didn't work miracles on me. The lump swelled up it almost cover my bottom hole. It makes me worried more. :-(

As an alternative to ACV, I have always used witch hazel distillate water. It's very gentle, and you can't use too much of it. I actually use witch hazel as a toner on my face! Put a portion of witch hazel in the refrigerator. Soak a cotton ball or pad with the cold witch hazel and apply to the hemorrhoids. It shrinks them immediately. I'm a holistic health educator, and so I'm always looking for great remedies. This one is so simple, gentle, effective. Beware: witch hazels in the drug store may have alcohol in them. Be sure to buy one that does NOT contain alcohol. Witch hazel distillate water is best.

Apple cider vinegar has pretty much cured my hemorrhoids! I started last Thurs and it is now Wed and they are almost gone. The itching and burning has subsided and they just aren't there anymore! This remedy will burn like crazy the first few days, but stick with it and you will have amazing results. I have tried everything and have been suffering for the last 4 months with severe pain and itching. I am so happy I found this site and this suggestion because I was spending lots of $$ on anything and everything that claimed it could cure or help hemorrhoids. The apple cider vinegar was 99 cents...and really worked!!!

I just tried this on an thrombosed hemorrhoid I've gotten due to pregnancy. I was desperate for relief and I put organic Apple Cider Vinegar on a cotton ball and applied it to hemorrhoid for 30 min.
Not only did it not help, but I am in much more pain than I was before. I am now icing the area in hopes for relief. I've heard menthol rub works and I will try that next.

Hi, I just wanna ask if how long now do you use the ACV? I am using it for almost two weeks now, and it really relieves the pain and after I remove the ACV, my hemmi shrinks. But then maybe after a few hours, I feel like the hemmi will get bigger again. I just want for it to be completely gone. Thanks..

ACV doesn't seem to be doing anything at all, other than making them more tender. I've been applying to one hem to see if there was any improvement. Nothing after four days at all. Perhaps mine have just been there for too long.
Going to pick up some Vick's and see if that helps at all. I'm lucky in that I don't experience much pain, but I would desperately like to get rid of the extra mini scrotums that have formed!

I had HFH (Hemorroid-From-Hell). It was the size of a large grape. I tried all the over the counter stuff but nothing worked. Then I tried the ACV and within a few days it went half down in size. I then started getting some bleeding, so I stopped the ACV for a few days and used Prep-H. Once the bleeding stopped I went back on the ACV until it disappeared. From beginning to end of using the ACV it took about 3 weeks to go from the painful large grape size to nothing. I have made the long term adjustments to hopefully prevent this from happenings again. High fiber and low dairy and meat.

Followed your advice for apple cider vinegar for hemorroids and it was the best cure, they are gone! I did go to the Dr. and he gave me Miralax, but after reading about it I did not take it. From now on I'm a great believer in natural remedies! Thank you so much!

Hi Melvin (New York) ----
Couple of days ago I took the time to read on EC remedies for hemorrhoids. There are several pages full of good remedial options.
While I know myself how uncomfortable and painful this condition is, don't misunderstand me if I say that a small number of fellow sufferers had such incredible humour that I laughed really hard for a while, and others did too. This is also a remedy, which helps to keep on the path of recovery.
So peruse what is available. My try is four to six peppercorns morn and night for a few days. One has to start somewhere and try what works.
Namaste, Om

Apple Cider Vinegar for Hemorrhoids: So far so good. I have never had issues with hemorrhoids, that I am aware of, and can't figure out what changed, but I woke up Sunday feeling strange 'Down There' and by Sunday night -after some research- realized what it was. By monday morning it was raging and I could not sleep or sit. No otc products seemed to work and I found this site. I'm so glad I did. I have used a mixture of black tea and vinegar, applied as needed and have noticed a marked difference.

Well it is around five days later. Three days since I left my feedback. I continued to use a diluted solution of acv. The odd thing is, it didn't seem to get any better after the first few days of success. I am at the point now where I did have to revert to using a suppository as even though the external pain died down, the internal pain was still and is still present. It's not as awful as it was, so no more fist clenching or tears. But I think I left them for so long it will take some time for them to heal completely. The outer pile is gone, but there is certainly something inside the anus either a sore or open pile. On going toilet it still feels as though something is scratching the wall of the anus when I pass a stool. It doesn't burn a lot, or feel completely like passing glass anymore, but it does still hurt a little.
I used some coco oil as the rawness caused by the full strength Apple Cider Vinegar became pretty painful and so I then tried the suppository.
I think I was over enthusiastic and should have watered the Apple Cider Vinegar down from the start which would have meant not getting the raw skin which just caused more irritation. The anus is itchy again but I suspect that is because it continues to heal. Using the Apple Cider Vinegar and suppositories has helped, but again I think it will take a while. I think the trick is, when you first feel them, don't leave it for weeks as I did, use a diluted solution of Apple Cider Vinegar and I'm pretty sure it will do a very good job at getting rid of them without the use of anything else.

Hi there - I feel I owe it to the posters & readers of this amazing site to provide feedback. Husband has struggled immensely with itchy bleeding bottom. Tried doctors remedies for years with very little success. This definitely affected his (and my! ) quality of life. Did loads of research on this site last night. Had some Safeway brand apple cider vinegar. He was desperate. Tried the bath, nothing really happend. Gave him a glass with about 2 TBSP ACV to drink, he did that. Then soaked a half a cotton ball in ACV and inserted very gently, not far. Burned quite a bit but he left in. Woke up this morning said it's the best he's felt in a long time. Almost gone. Will continue with interal & external, plus very strong probiotics and green & clean diet. Can't say enough about the quality of this site. Thank-you to all who share specific stories; was immensely helpful.

Wow- I just found this site, and within ten minutes of saturating a cotton ball with ACV and applying to the affected area, the itching has subsided, and the pain has lessened to the point where I am no longer squirming in my seat, as I type this, in the usual vain attempt to find a comfortable position. How happy I am to have found this thread! I had forgotten the bit about adding ACV to one's drinking water, and after reading the previous comments, have done just that. I suspect too many dietary sugars and carbohydrates (which I usually eat very sparingly), and too few green leafies, combined with a recent eight-hour air flight, has skewed my system somewhat. I am interested in seeing how well this brings things back to balance. Thanks to all for the input here!

I had been suffering for almost a week from constipation caused my hemorrhoids, as if they werent bad enough alone. I tried drinking ACV amongst other things, and I finally gave in and decided to apply a cotton ball soaked in ACV for 10 or 15 seconds. And OUCH! It stung pretty badly BUT no worse than the pain of sitting on it, I suppose. Within a few minutes I felt much better. I applied a cotton ball for 10 to 15 seconds two more times that day. By the next morning they were almost completely gone, and I was able to relieve myself with ease. (i've never been so happy to have a BM in my life. ) The ACV cottonball did sting a bit, but it definitely worked for me.

I have had internal hemorrhoids for about 6 yrs. Very uncomfortable- tried pretty much everything till I found out about Apple Cider Vinegar. The intense pain and burning during and after passing stool was gone after one application the following day.
I placed some Apple Cider Vinegar in an enema bottle, poured a little 2 inch inside my bum about a tablespoonful once a day. Made sure it was cold so I could feel it entering, didn't want to put too much cause you would poop immediately. Also put some on napkin and hold on bum for 10-20 min 3 times a day.
