Aloe Vera

Hi!

I was recently diagnosed with BV & cervical polyps and legions on my cervix these are slow growing and can lead to cancer if you're not careful. As a side effect I began getting BV from the ph balance distress the lesions were causing. Then I got Trichomonas vaginalis from a sexual partner. My doctor said I had HSIL and a cone biopsy is my only option. I was able to heal my cervix and BV using home made vaginal suppositories made from pure Aloe Vera jelly. I want to have more children so I chose to try diet change, quitting smoking, juicing, herbal tonics & cleansing while I thought about surgery. I've had reoccurring bv for so many years, I really wanted to get rid of it. Well to ease my cervical lesions which were always spotting, I decided to try Aloe plant. I purchased the aloe plant stalks in the produce section of the market. To my surprise the bv was also cured after 3 days & my cervix feel less inflamed and no longer spotting. It feels so amazing! The odor stopped the second day of treatment.

Here's the remedy:

1. Brand new flexible ice tray (iKea has small rectangular ones that work great) - sterilize tray by boiling first

2. Use a small pearing knife to scrape the clear jelly from inside the aloe Vera stalk

3. Blend the jelly (only clear jelly) in a blender until the slippery mixture is fine and has no lumps . (Make sure you do not leave behind any of the green outside parts, as these can cause irritation to the outside areas of the vagina.

4. Pour mixture of pure blended aloe jelly into the ice tray and cover with parchment paper then seal in plasting zip loc. Freeze mixture.

5. Break frozen rectangles into half size manageable pieces. Insert small about (.5ml) frozen pieces into vagina at bed time and wear a thin pad.

6. use suppositories for 5-8 nights, preferably right after your menstrual cycle ends towards your next ovulation.

7. There can be slight irritation to the vulva & outside areas as the jelly first flushes out. This only last for a few minute when the suppository is first melting . That's why its good to be sleeping and lying down to skip this part ;)! Wipe clean and change pad for comfort.

8. Fishy odor caused by BV bacteria and Unbalanced PH will fade starting the second day. Enjoy! I'll be continuing to shrink down and soothe my cervix too!

Good luck!

Caution:

To those using garlic be careful. I inserted a whole clove in my vagina and it got stuck between my cervix and vagina wall. I have a low cervix. It worked wonders but I really had a hard time getting it out. I was going crazy thinking how I would explain to the er that a garlic clove was stuck in my vagina lol

I have suffered from bv for over 10 years and tried everything from pills, vinegar/peroxide douche and countless other things. I fixed my bv issue by accident. I had a thyroid issue and started juicing veggies and fruit for breakfast and lunch and dinner I ate my normal meal. After a week or so I noticed I no longer had that smell from the bv. I gave it another two weeks because I was so used to it always coming right back but two months of this plant based diet change and still no bv.

I believe the increase of alkaline veggies and fruit intake is the cause of this change. My ph is now balanced after so many years of being out of whack. All the years of have to do so much prep just to comfortably have sex with my husband are now gone. Bv is something that can make you feel less than a woman due to that horrid smell. I am and always have been a very clean person and still have no idea how the bv started but I'm now a raw foods lover for life.

Did I mention I also lost weight without trying. I was embarrassed to even write this hoping no one I know will be able to find out its me writing this. But after years of researching to try to find a cure I feel it would be an injustice if I didn't share my success story. The medicine is not a cure we have to fix the balance from the inside and it's all about incorporating the proper food that balances our insides.

Also I no longer have the pain staking irritable bowel syndrome, ulcer, and bloating that I was suffering from for years.

I must say that I've tried the yogurt and it did not work for me. Not sure how it does for others but I did try the peroxide and it works wonders. Yes it will come back if you stop but the medication they give you at the clinic doesn't work. I find for me the peroxide works better, at least you can be sure that you don't have odor.

Vitamin D

Abstract

BACKGROUND & OBJECTIVES:

Bacterial vaginosis (BV) is the most prevalent vaginal infection in women of reproductive age group which has been found to be associated with vitamin D deficiency. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of the administration of 2000 IU/day edible vitamin D for 15 wk to eliminate asymptomatic BV among reproductive age women with vitamin D deficiency.

METHODS:

A total of 208 women with asymptomatic BV, who were found to be eligible after interviews and laboratory tests, were randomly assigned to a control group (n=106) or an intervention group (n=105). They used vitamin D drops daily for 105 days. Vaginal and blood samples were taken before and after the second intervention using identical methods (Nugent score for BV diagnosis, serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D forvitamin D determination).

RESULTS:

The cure rate of asymptomatic BV was 63.5 per cent in the intervention and 19.2 per cent in the control group (P <0.001). The results showed that being unmarried (P=0.02), being passive smoker (P<0.001), and being in the luteal phase of a menstrual cycle during sampling (P=0.01) were significantly associated with post-intervention BV positive results. After these elements were controlled, the odds of BV positive results in the control group was 10.8 times more than in the intervention group (P<0.001).

INTERPRETATION & CONCLUSIONS:

Among women in reproductive age group with vitamin D deficiency, the administration of 2000 IU/day edible vitamin D was effective in eliminating asymptomatic BV. This treatment could be useful in preventing the symptoms and side effects of BV.

Hi! I just want to share what I did. I Had bv last month after my period and it smells really bad that I don't want to have sex with my boyfriend anymore. I waited for a month hoping it will just heal, but it never did, so I got it checked by the ob. she gave me metronidazole, it worked after 3 days but it gave me side effects like nauseous, and dizzines I can't even function well so I stopped taking it on the 5th day. I was so happy that the smell is gone so I thought I have to still work on some remedies so the infection will not return, so I put yogurt inside since I heard its a cure for bv. but it infect my vagina again with bv, so I stopped putting yogurt since it made my bv came back, I don't want to take antibiotics again so I searched for other remedies on the net.

This time I soaked a hydrogen peroxide diluted with water in a tampon and put it inside my vagina, I did this for 2 days but I stopped since I feel it burning inside. so what I did was mix hydrogen peroxide with a probiotic drink and used it as a feminine wash only 2x a day. I drink 1 probiotic drink everyday, take 2 tablets of vitamin c everyday. put omx probiotic tablet inside my vagina at night, then put the vitamin c capsule in the morning for 4 days, I almost lose hope that nothing will work but now I noticed that my vagina doesn't have smell anymore. And I hope this time it stays this way. Hope this helps!

Tea Tree Oil
Posted by Phoenix (California) on 05/07/2016

You should never apply undiluted tea tree oil on any skin, especially sensitive skin. Tea tree oil shouldn't be more than 10%, but when dealing with the sensitive skin in the vagina I wouldn't put more than 1 or 2% in a carrier oil. Olive oil is a great carrier oil for this use because of it's antibacterial properties. I personally would just apply the oil directly. If your using the tampon method for applying Apple Cider Vinegar or oil mixture then only 1-2 hours at a time is necessary.

I am trying to find others in these posts who have had recurring BV without any clear reasons. I have been trying to get rid of mine with antibiotics and will try the hydrogen peroxide routine ASAP. But here's my discovery. I use a water-based lubricant, and I found a long list of ingredients that can cause BV in lubricants. That explains why I keep getting BV over and over again. One ingredient to stay away from is glycerin, for example. Another is sucralose. That makes sense, because those are sugars that can change the pH balance. I made a list of all the ingredients and will do some more research, but has anyone else found personal lubricants to be a cause of recurring BV?

I'm here to let other women know they CAN treat BV while on their periods. I am 24, pretty healthy, and I take birth control pills, which is why I think my pH gets so crazy on my period. My pH seems to change when I get my period, causing the worst itch and irritation. Let me start by telling you how I got here.

A few months ago, I had the most uncomfortable, burning itch that I kept getting around/on my period. It became so unbearable, I did some research and thought it was a yeast infection. Looking back on it, I realize now it was BV. After trying to use OTC treatment for a yeast infection (monostat 1 was so painful! ), I irritated the BV (imagine your lady parts as a balloon animal) and ended up paying about $100 extra to see a doctor, who prescribed me all kinds of crap. Since then, to get rid of my itch and fix the balance of my natural pH levels, I have been mixing hydrogen peroxide with equal parts water, and adding a splash of apple cider vinegar. I insert that with a syringe (no needle, duh) and rinse with it about three times in the morning. Since tampons only irritate me more, I use a menstrual cup. I lube my cup with coconut oil and insert it after rinsing with the mixture.

Then I take two acidophilus pills orally and drink an ACV/water mixture and go about my day.

When I need to rinse my cup at night before bed, I repeat the above steps. I tried soaking the mixture in a tampon and that didn't do much for me, plus I hate how tampons irritate my vagina. I highly recommend trying the cup, especially if you have painful periods and tend to have sensitive skin. So far I have had no problems and the happiest period I've had in a while! Good luck, hope this helps!

Baking Soda Douche
Posted by Momo6 (New York) on 02/12/2016

After using the gel medication for bv, I have been dry with no smell and my discharge ranges from thick creamy to watery non slippery and taste is very sour / tart. I read that someone used the baking soda douche and it burned but helped change her back to normal....

My experience, I used half warm water half baking soda and inserted it with a plastic applicator, anyway immediately after I got a whiff of that nasty foul fishy smell.. however I do feel some slippery wetness opposed to how dry I was. But yeah it stinks bad I pray in the morning I will get back to normal. I can't sleep because I am worried about my vagina..

If there is smell still tomorrow night I will try mixing water and a little ACV to bring my ph back down.

SN: I am absolutely NOT sexually active due to not having a normal flora. Some good things to know:

  • Apple cider vinegar when used topically is acidic (ph 2.8)
  • The vagina is supposed you be more acidic.. (ph4-5)
  • Water pH is around 5 I believe.
  • Baking soda is highly Alkaline... (ph9)
  • When ingested I know ACV does the opposite and alkalines the body
  • Too much acid > yeast
  • Too much alkaline > bv

Not a doctor just trying to figure this out like everyone else.

I have been suffering from recurrent BV for almost 3 years now, I am 23 years old now so I started getting it at the age of 20, I've visited many doctors, gynecologist, urogynocologist and they have all tried to help w medications but my body is so sick of it that I just get BV the moment I'm off the medication. I've had the most 3 miserable years of my life, suffering, crying about it, asking God for help, seeking natural treatments, changing lifestyle.. Done it all, I've changed the soap (I use organic baby soap), tooken probiotics (50mil), I've done it all, and I decided to try what I always feared, garlic up my vagina.. Yup! So recently I was diagnosed w BV, took the meds blah blah, I got the symptoms again along w yeast, because my situation now seemed to have worsened from just BV to now BV and yeast.. Anywho, I decided to start using garlic cloves into my Vagina before bed and it's been 5 days and I only had discharge once (I'm sure cleansing it up) but aside from that, I've been feeling much better.. Still too soon to speak but I have faith that it will work.. It sucks there isn't a cure for this tragic life ruining condition..I hope garlic does the trick! Pray for me, I'll be back in the future and give more information about my journey beating BV's behind..

I have been suffering for BV for 7 years and after several trips to the doctor and numerous prescriptions of antibiotics, my BV would not go away. I tried the peroxide douche, peroxide tampon, drinking baking soda water, tampon with tea tree oil, tampon with yogurt, tea tree soap. nothing seem to work! The smell is horrible and embarrassing, so I had to do something. I just could not be around people because I thought they would smell it . My social life as well as my personal life were ruined. I was at my wits end and very desperate for a cure or to even get rid of the smell, so I could at least get part of my life back.

I did some research and decided to try Apple Cider Vinegar (mother), boric acid capsules, probiotics, folic acid, multivitamins, eliminated sugar from my diet.

First thing in the morning, I would drink 1 tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar (diluted with a little water). Then, I would take one probiotic pill and after I eat something I take the multivitamin and the folic acid pill. Next, I insert one capsule of Boric Acid (vaginally). I only do this before I go to bed. I also eat healthier. I eat a lot of salads , vegetables and limited fruit.

It has only been a couple days, but so far so good.

Hello all,

I have been struggling with chronic BV for almost 3 years and I always said that if I ever found a remedy, I would share it for all the world to know about. If I can help at least one person not have to go through what I've been through that would be enough for me.

So, my BV was brought on by sex with a new partner. And when I tell you I have tried EVERYTHING under the sun to get rid of it, believe me I have! From hydrogen peroxide and apple cider vinegar douches to tea tree oil tampons to vaginal insertion of boric acid capsules. EVERYTHING!!! And some of these regimens would give me temporary relief, but as soon as treatment was over, the BV would always come right back. I was also taking vitamins and supplements in conjunction with these home remedies but still nothing would work long term...

UNTIL I came up with the perfect combination of vitamins and supplements that has finally tamed the chronic BV beast that had not only taken over my body but my entire life as well! I pray this regimen will work for you too:

1) Vitamin D (breaks down the bio-film that causes BV to keep reoccurring)

2) Super B Complex (builds up the immune system to help fight off the bad bacteria)

3) Probiotic (with at least 90 billion active probiotics to overtake the bad bacteria)

4) A really good prebiotic (to maintain the good bacteria that the probiotic is putting in your body)

*Take all of these vitamins and supplements ORALLY once a day. Also changing your diet to eliminate the bad stuff like sugar and alcohol wouldn't hurt either.

And as a side note: I also stopped seeing the guy who was the root of all of my problems to begin with! He was literally bad for my health!!!

So, please please please try this!!! It worked miracles for me and I pray that it will work for you too. Please reply with any questions, comments or concerns you may have and I will try my best to address them.

Take care :)

I'm 16 and even teens get BV too! Garlic cured me! Thank You God and Jesus because he healed me too! Here is my regimen that I did everyday for 2-3 weeks . Even on my period!

Chop up natural whole clove of garlic into tiny pieces

Get a big glass of water
Swallow the entire pieces of garlic like pills
Drink the full glass of water everyday

After wards (5 hours later ) after I step out the shower cleansing myself I would get a tampon covered in natural plain yogurt filled with natural probiotics and stick it in me leave it for 2 hours and remove and rinse myself with water. - once that is over I eat a 170 Gram probiotic yogurt to help balance my ph balance I've done this EVERYDAY for 2-3 weeks and bam! BV is gone!

I still take chopped garlic as pills but every other day because garlic is a natural disinfecting veggi . And making sure to take probiotic pills with rhetui that is found in the vagina strains to keep my ph balance healthy . I prayed to God and Jesus to heal me and please help me find a cure and I did I'm cured!

God is good all the time! Well time to eat some chopped up garlic :)

Borax
Posted by Rs (Ca) on 12/18/2015

BORIC ACID!!!! Not borax. I make and use boric acid capsules once a week for the maintenance of BV. There is no cure for BV and every woman is different when it comes to keeping this under control......and that is all you can do. Diet and keeping your body alkaline is a key factor. NO sugar, no caffeine, no dairy.......I however cant be that strict with my diet and I rely on boric acid capsules and they are a LIFE SAVER. You can by boric acid on Amazon.....it is a pesticide and roach killer, but not harmful to humans when inserted into the vagina, only if consumed orally. It basically suffocates the bacteria in your vagina and kills it. I would be at the end of my proverbial rope by now if it were not for this miracle. ALSO, a little known fact is that your doctor can give you a prescription for this to take to your pharmacy....yep....true story. It is a prescription medication for BV but no one wants anyone to know about it because then the pharmaceutical companies would lose money. I have worked in the medical field my entire life and know a thing or two about pharmaceutical companies. Anyway, there is no cure so you have to manage the symptoms until it subsides and then maintain a regimen.

If you keep getting a reoccurrence of BV then most likely your partner needs to be treated. Some DR say men can't get it but that is not true. Some DR will give you medication for your guy and you can go through the 10 days together.

I suffer from BV to and it sucks. I'm not sexually active either, mine is brought in by sugar. I wonder if that's the cause fir many if the cases. If BV and if a study could be done and test that. But yeah, I also ready about peroxide I've done it with soaking a tampon in those little cups you would use for rinsing your mouth after brushing your Teeth ( the cardboard wax ones) and a little bit of peroxide and I leave it in overnight it works . I do that and take acidophilus pills three times a day with a lot of water . You can also use liquid acidophilus if you dint think that the pills are helping fast or enough, I think the liquid one is faster but I'm not sure lol .

First a little history....I got divorced in 2013 after being with only one guy for 23 years! When we had sex we always did the rythm method even though I was on the pill (just an added precaution against pregnancy). After the divorce I started seeing a new guy who refused to do the rythm method. That is when I started to have problems with Bacterial Vaginosis. Prior to that I never had it in my life, only the occasional yeast infection. He had stated other women he had seen also had the same problem, so there must be something about his sperm that are toxic to my body!

I came to earth clinic and found the hydrogen peroxide treatment. It worked great at first, but I was getting the infections so often, the peroxide was becoming irritating and would result in yeast infections. I made a trip to the doctor and got a prescription which worked to cure the infection.

I still got infections so I research preventatives. Two things helped which I highly recommend. The first is a probiotic which contains LACTOBACILLUS that are native to the vagina and the best at producing natural H2O2. To my knowledge it is the only supplement available that contains the proper vaginal bacteria Lactobacillus.

The other thing that helps is a Vaginal Gel applicators. These are a pricey and only come in a 4 pack. I would use them after sex to restore my pH and I had no issues for a few months.

Due to the price of the gel applicators I risked not taking them as I was taking the Lactobacillus probiotic daily. I decided to see if I could stop using the gel and save some money. I stopped using it and I still have no issues so I only use the Gel applicators after sex and a recent infection until I think my bacteria population is stable (1-2 weeks post infection).

Recently I have been having issues again with infections (not sure if due to too many sweets, dirty man, or what! ). I am almost out of medication from the doctor and really don't want to go back and pay for the visit and meds.

I came back to Earth clinic and decided to do the hydrogen peroxide treatment again. I rinsed internally with 50% water, 50% hydrogen peroxide with empty douche container. I then opened a capsule of the probiotic supplement, moistened my finger, dipped in the powder from the capsule, and inserted that into my vagina. That was in the evening.

By morning there was still a bit of odor, so I repeated the hydrogen peroxide rinse followed by the lactobacillus powder from the capsule. The the end of the day I can say I am cured and all is back to normal.

Hopefully I figure out why I am having a relapse as the probiotic t has kept me infection free for many many months. I'm hoping if I do get another infection the combination hydrogen peroxide and the lactobacillus powder results in another fast recovery!

Thanks for this. I am wondering if I am in the minority as someone who has few to no symptoms, but still has persistent infection. I am hoping the lemon water will help. I am pretty upset that I was told 3 YEARS ago by my doctor not to treat this after it was found during a routine pap. I had zero symptoms except a few days (an this was WEEKS before my pap) that I had a heavier watery discharge with a bit of a smell, but this quickly went away on its own and did not return. I continued to have no symptoms after my diagnosis, so I figured it had cleared itself as the doctor said it would. I just recently went in for a pap and was told I still have it, after all this time! So now I know I must do something. After seeing all the stuff about how antibiotics are only a very temporary cure, I am very hesitant to pick up my prescription as I don't want it to come back worse, WITH symptoms next time. I just want to be rid of this, but it's hard to even know if and when that will happen since I don't experience symptoms, it's just ... there. The only thing I have ever noticed in recent months was an occasional "off" smelling discharge or a very faint odor after sex, and even then it was usually a very slight odor, nothing major at all. Most days everything smells perfectly healthy, with absolutely no itch or unusual discharge, so I am alarmed to find out it is actually not healthy, and has not been for so long. It's a very distressing experience, and I'm sad to hear there is no cure, just management. I wish I knew what had caused this - I was celibate at the time of my first diagnosis and do not douche or have a poor diet.

I literally have just made this account just to tell you my cure :D BV sucks and it can drive you mad with the doctors pushing you out with antibiotics, making you feel nuts, and the smell and burn and itch and ugh, Ive had symptoms like constipation, creamy discharge, itchiness after sex, painful sex in general. JUST SUCKS. Just to tell you of myself a little I am 19 and have been with my boyfriend for 3 years, the amount of time I have had bv. I believe that I have had bv because me and my boyfriends juices or skins bacteria don't mix. I'm not sure but it has only been around when he has been around and he is extremely faithful. But I wasn't about to maintain a bv sex relationship, screw that nastiness I felt so bad for him but he was amazing an awesome. I am a healthy vegan/vegetarian/ raw foodie and eat like 9 meals a day consisting of fruits nuts and veggies fish all day everyday I'm very active. GLUTEN FREE I feel is important as well! But good gluten free stuff. If I ate unhealthy like breads or too much fruit (natural sugar) I noticed a hint of bv would flare so I would try to do mostly greens and nuts and limited fruits.

If you want to just cut straight to the remedy scroll to my last paragraph.

SO I have tried " everything under the sun" to get rid of this bv, the only thing I probably haven't tried is the gnarly stuff like boric acid and hibiclens. I try the most natural stuff like acv, hydrogen peroxide, acidophilous , yogurt up the vjay. But nothing worked. For two years it was a long hard struggle but the third year I went gluten free, drank lots of water and started to take more vitamins because I felt maybe I'm lacking some nutrients from the way I eat. I started to take 50 billion count probiotics. b complex vitamins and a D2 or 3 vitamin. I felt better but not cured. I still had the hint of bv but discharge was different for sure.

I then tried the apple cider vinegar douche but mixed with mostly coconut oil. I was better for 3 days! Cured but then it came back. I tried the Apple Cider Vinegar douche again with coco oil but more Apple Cider Vinegar this time. THE BV GOT WORSE.

SO then I started to get very frustrated and I thought about the coconut oil :D I was like lets just try the coconut oil ( Which is extra virgin and organic) . SO I laid on my back filled a small medicine syringe/dropper with coco oil and pushed it into my vagina and filled up the syringe again and repeated and continued to lay for 30 min. After 30 min I walked up to go pee and let out all the liquid and bv stuff and repeated this twice a day for 5 days and it was gone. Clear stretchy vaginal discharge with no smell. Gone after 3 years.

So the CURE :D

COCONUT OIL EXTRA VIRGIN

A LITTLE SYRINGE, MEDICINE THING (dosage per day is 2 syringes full for 30 min laying on your back) *ALSO DO NOT INSERT WITH FINGERS IT WONT GET TO THE PLACE WHERE IT NEEDS TO GO*

B COMPLEX VITAMINS, FOLIC ACID TWICE A DAY, D3 OR D2 and 50 BILLION COUNT PROBIOTICS.

LOTS OF WATER EVERYDAY 8 GLASSES AT THE LEAST.

When doing the coco oil cure, Fill the little syringe up twice and put into vagina while lying down, lay for 30 min then empty liquids in bathroom. Do this for 5 days twice a day( If you feel you are getting better by 3 or 4th day u can reduce it to doing once a day)

HOPE THIS HELPS

Everyone is different but I really have hope for this cure coconut oil is supposed to be very good for bv and vaginas in general.

ACV should be organic, unfiltered and cold-pressed. It should also say "with the mother" on the bottle. The mother is the starter culture which contains all the beneficial bacteria that help to alkalinize the body and overtake the bad bacteria.

What kind of ACV were you using?

I have had severe bv for over a year now, I have tried this plenty of times and it never worked for me, I just wanted to put that out there.

BV: I, too, have suffered with this horrible condition. After trying all the remedies listed on this site and then some, which none of them worked, except for a day or so, I began taking 1 heaping teaspoon of barley grass JUICE powder, (emphasis on the word JUICE), and after 2 days, it is completely gone. No smell at all. Not even a little bit...try it, please!!! If it works for you, post so that other women can try it as well with the hope that it can bring them relief....!
