Just tried this natural remedy because I read all the testimonies if applying ACV to hemorrhoids. I used a cotton ball and applied the vinegar right to the hemorrhoids. I HAD SUCH EXCRUCIATING PAIN!!! I just vomited it hurt so bad. I know others are swearing by it, maybe I have severe hemorrhoids. I know they've been there for years. But I don't think I can stand this treatment. Anyone else experience this SEVERE pain??!!

I soaked a cotton pad with ACV and left it there while I was brushing my teeth, washing my face, cleaning up in the bathroom. Now there was not even a trace of it, like it was never even there before.

Didn't go to the toilet for two days and when I did, one uncomfortable devil reared it's ugly little head. Used a cream for a day then tried ACV 2 tbs plus 1tbs water, dabbed on with a cotton ball after success in the toilet, kept doing ACV + H20 for 5 days. Ugly little head disappeared. Also used 6” high plastic boxes under my feet, just like Thai toilets and no more pushing. Whoopee! and Whoopoo!

After reading the reviews, I am using the Apple Cider Vinegar. One of the replies stated that the person had eaten dry white rice and thought that is exactly what I had eaten the day before at a Mexican restaurant. I did attempt to moisten it because it was extremely dry rice with vegetables. I guess I did not hydrate it enough.
I diluted the ACV after reading about the burn many experienced, but went back and strengthened the batch I mixed up so it is about 2/3 ACV, because it really did not burn at all. I do feel a slight itch and for me that is a healing itch.
I can already feel the relief and I am thrilled.

Oh how wrong was I. After the last few months of itchiness and feeling uncomfortable, I ordered some cream from the internet which claimed to soothe and stop itchiness. It didn't really. Oddly it seemed to become more sore and itchy. So I began to use sudo cream and it worked for a while to stop the itchiness and soreness. But for some reason, in the last month it began to flare up. I eat huge amounts of veg and fruit, I juice and now and again have relapses of too much dairy so I assume as I grow older this is having a bad effect on my system and my piles.
I then found a cream from the chemist having spent a week of pure pain, it was obviously getting much worse and felt raw as well as harder to go to the loo without screaming or clutching my fists. I never knew piles would create this much hassle.
I used the cream and it seemed to calm it down, but then after a week, flared up again. I stupidly added sudo cream to the pile cream and int he morning, two days ago, I was in tears. I could no longer sit properly or walk without pain. I was shocked, really shocked at the pain and discomfort. The creams obviously mixed and caused a bad reaction. Left feeling sorry for my self and my bum, I started to look for answers on the internet again. I found videos on youtube that only explained halves, tried to sell you their nonsense so overtime I thought I had found a solution, I hadn't, just another person trying to sell something or home remedies that I really didn't have the ingredients for.
I just can't believe I hadn't given any thought to Apple Viniger Cider. I bought a book on how it heals ailments in many different ways, but totally forgot about it. I came across this website, thank God! I cringed at the thought of putting vinegar on my pile, imagining it to sting like hell, but anything at that time was better than what I was feeling. If I had fresh wheatgrass int he house, I would have used the pulp from that, but didn't so reached for my handy large bottle of Apple Cider Vinegar and tested out what everyone here already seemed to know. Thank you all. I am still not out of the woods having left them so long using crap creams, but it is only day two. I can tell you I am now sitting with no pain, I am still uncomfortable in going to the loo but am using the raise your legs six inches (using my box set of Roald Dahl books) so that it eases any movement. The stinging is still a little bit there, but no screaming or tears. I am pretty convinced that in a week this will be either so much better or gone but will keep you updated.
I have followed what others mentioned here re the application. First beginning with showering (can't bath as I don't have one), adding the Apple Cider Vinegar onto a thick piece of kitchen paper (half) folding and putting it directly onto my bum/pile. It did sting a little at first (well, second and third) but, it does go after about five minutes of the Apple Cider Vinegar being applied. I am on day two now, it's evening and the last two applications I have added water to as I didn't fancy having skin removed from down there. Hasn't happened but I imagine that the Apple Cider Vinegar is pretty potent. It is definitely working. No itchiness, no burning (nothing like it was). I can pass wind without fear of the pain, I hope tomorrow I can have a bowl movement with NO pain rather than some but we shall wait for that. I have to give it time, as I did leave it for a while and not treating itt as I should have.
I did recently before this website spend twenty pounds on more medication for my piles, which I now regret as I won't be using it. I just can't believe I didn't pay more attention to the book I bought on what Apple Cider Vinegar can help treat. But I do thank you all for sharing and for giving a full run down and NOT selling anything from some medicine company at the end of it. I shall keep this updated. :D

Well it is around five days later. Three days since I left my feedback. I continued to use a diluted solution of acv. The odd thing is, it didn't seem to get any better after the first few days of success. I am at the point now where I did have to revert to using a suppository as even though the external pain died down, the internal pain was still and is still present. It's not as awful as it was, so no more fist clenching or tears. But I think I left them for so long it will take some time for them to heal completely. The outer pile is gone, but there is certainly something inside the anus either a sore or open pile. On going toilet it still feels as though something is scratching the wall of the anus when I pass a stool. It doesn't burn a lot, or feel completely like passing glass anymore, but it does still hurt a little.
I used some coco oil as the rawness caused by the full strength Apple Cider Vinegar became pretty painful and so I then tried the suppository.
I think I was over enthusiastic and should have watered the Apple Cider Vinegar down from the start which would have meant not getting the raw skin which just caused more irritation. The anus is itchy again but I suspect that is because it continues to heal. Using the Apple Cider Vinegar and suppositories has helped, but again I think it will take a while. I think the trick is, when you first feel them, don't leave it for weeks as I did, use a diluted solution of Apple Cider Vinegar and I'm pretty sure it will do a very good job at getting rid of them without the use of anything else.

Try to drink an infusion (3 to 4 cups/ day) of either St. John Wort or Yarrow for at least 7 days.

In continuaton to my mail:
When many of you are saying applied ACV through cotton balls. Do you leave the ball inside anal area for internal hemmroids? Also, for those from India : Only ACV available seems the one from "American Gardens". Were you able cure Hemmroids using this ACV?
Thank You. Sunder

Sunder, I live in Pakistan and hence I think I can help. I am extremely obese with an irregular schedule (12 hour sitting job at night) and would eat a lot of fast food/processed food (don't cook myself, always order delivery or takeaway) hence I suffer from both internal and external Hemorrhoids,
I have found a way to help myself by some very simple dietary changes. I try to incorporate some of the following items in my daily diet to keep hemorrhoids away, hope they can help you also.
- papaya
- psyllium (ispaghol)
- Flax Seeds Powder(alsi k beej)
- Garlic powder
- prunes (idrak or bari kishmish)
- figs in water (injeer)
- onion
- Barley water (jau ka pani)
If I continue with my routine of including any two of these items, I stay okay but if I mismanage my diet, I am again confronted with these hemorrhoids from hell. When these painful devils appear, the following things have worked for me.
1- Mix one table spoon of turmeric (haldi) with equal quantity of mustard oil (sarsoon ka tail) and heat it over direct fire, let it cool slightly and apply on a cotton pad and apply on the hemorrhoids, this is one of the best. Do this many times a day along with good fiber and within 24 hours you will be cured.
2- Yes American Garden Apple Cider also works nicely, though I would prefer an organic saib ka surqa more. I keep a small bottle of apple cider vinegar and coconut oil in my office drawer also for emergencies.
3- Coconut oil, slightly warm can also be helpful
4- vicks are also offered temporary relief
5- a portion of prickly heat powder mixed with a portion of rash cream (have tried it only once when I had a sudden appearance of a worst hemorrhoids at works and had to complete the shift (12 hours shift in a call center, standing is not permitted). This provided temporary relief.

Hey And73w! Just wanted to point out for others that ACV is an exceptional remedy for assisting blood clotting processes (in addition to helping the opposite - thick, viscous blood). If the area is bleeding, it will likely sting more, but it will also sterilize the area (in so many words; those concerned about the bacteria/etc present in vinegar can simmer it on the stove for a couple minutes, then cool it and apply). Except for in some older people, I've only had success with using vinegar on smaller open wounds, and I can't recall a single side effect other than reddening and stinging, maybe a little skin irritation for one lady.
Hope that helps!

After reading the threads, I got a paper towel and soaked the end of it and spread the cheeks while s-l-o-w-l-y moving the towel toward the bloody spot. I thought it would be so painful that I would kick a hole in the ceiling, but quite the opposite. It was a mild discomfort mainly from the roid, but I was able to release and let the cheeks hold it in place put on underware and went to bed.
Almost immediate relief, better in the morning. The only blood was at the tip of the paper towel. The size of the hole was about that of an eraser on a number 2 pencil. I have always used the "meta" fiber but I'd miss a day or 3 here and there so I would find myself straining a bit on occasion. But I've been using Apple Cider Vinegar for two days (the same way sleeping through the nite, shower in the morn and no more blood or pain and it is starting to get smaller in size already. I am starting the minced garlic on a spoon with water chase a time or two daily.
I will update... But again thanks sooooo much, I thought it was time to cash in my chips! Who knew something so simple could help and so quick!!!
