Tannic Acid Cancer Research.

Bill Thompson's post below delves into the anti-cancer properties of tannic acid and related compounds, confirming Ted from Bangkok's claims about their effectiveness. Here are the key points from the post:

  1. Anti-Histamine Properties: Tannic acid, along with catechins, ellagic acid, and gallic acid, acts as an anti-histamine, helping to reveal cancer cells to the immune system for white blood cells to attack and digest the tumor.

  2. Inhibition of Hyaluronidase: Tannic acid inhibits the enzyme hyaluronidase, which cancer uses to invade healthy cells. By blocking this enzyme, tannic acid prevents cancer from spreading.

  3. Research Confirmation:

    • Hyaluronidase is present in cancer cells and aids in spreading by breaking down cell walls and facilitating angiogenesis (formation of new blood vessels to nourish the tumor).
    • By inhibiting hyaluronidase, tannic acid stops cancer cell adhesion, invasion, and metastasis.
  4. Mechanisms of Action:

    • De-cloaking Cancer: Makes cancer cells visible to the immune system.
    • Stopping Angiogenesis: Prevents the tumor from forming its own blood supply.
    • Preventing Adhesion: Stops cancer cells from sticking to healthy cells.
    • Blocking Growth Factors: Prevents release of factors that aid cancer growth.
  5. Combination Protocol: Dr. Mathias Rath's research supports the effectiveness of Combining Vitamin C, Lysine, Proline, and Epigallocatechins (similar to tannic acid) against cancer and metastasis.

  6. Sources of Tannic Acid: Found in tea (Camelia sinensis), coffee beans, and black cohosh.

Research Confirmation

Research supports the role of tannic acid in cancer treatment. Hyaluronidase is implicated in cancer spread and angiogenesis, making it a target for inhibition. Studies confirm that tannic acid can block hyaluronidase, reducing tumor growth and metastasis, which aligns with Ted's and Bill's claims.

In my search to further understand the reasons for Ted from Bangkok's cancer remedies, I have stumbled on several bits of research that completely confirms the truth of what Ted says in relation to tannic acid's effect cancer and metastasis. Ted has always maintained that Tannic acid -- as well as catechins, ellagic acid and gallic acid -- are effectively anti-histamine in their action on the body, with an built in ability to completely de-cloak the cancer as the enemy so that the white blood cells can do their work by attacking and digesting the cancer tumour.

But there seems to be much more to Tannic acid than I ever realized. There is an enzyme called hyaluronidase (a collagenase or collagen digesting enzyme) which the cancer uses to digest or drill through the adjacent healthy cell host wall (which all contain hyaluronic acid derivatives) which allows it to spread. This is why hyaluronidase is actually described as a spreading factor for cancer. This enzyme therefore helps to spread the cancer horizontally or laterally into healthy host cells. What Tannic acid does is completely inhibit this hyaluronidase enzyme, thus halting any further cancer spread. From a research paper I found:

"We presented evidence that a hyaluronidase molecule is present on some but not all long term human tumor cell lines including colon adenocarcinoma. Hyaluronidase mRNA is also present in biopsies from patients with colon carcinomas but not from mRNA isolated from the normal colon tissue of the same patient. Expression of hyaluronidase on tumor cells could enable them to avoid intercellular adhesion, depolymerize the extracellular matrix, release growth factors stored in the matrix, and also induce angiogenesis, thereby facilitating the spread of tumor cells. From this link "Expression of hyaluronidase by tumor cells induces angiogenesis in vivo"

The above extract also showed induced angiogenesis (cancer's ability to form its own blood network system on and within the tumour) was greatly aided by hyalurodinase. To sum up the above research in simple layman's terms means that using Tannic Acid:

* De-cloaks the cancer as the enemy, fully allowing white blood cells to do their job.

* Stops angiogenesis and the spreading factor.

* Stops the cancer cells sticking or adhering to healthy host cells, thus disabling healthy cell penetration and invasion by the cancer cell.

* Preventing growth factors from being released in the healthy cells.

* The cumulative effect of tannic acid also helps to therefore stop or prevent cancer metastasis.

Here is also further evidence of how combining Vitamin C, Lysine, proline and Epigallotannins (very similar to tannic acid) in a combined protocol, has been proven to be very effective against cancers and particularly metastasis. See Dr Mathias Rath's Natural Cancer Formula Research.

I would like to know if it would be ok to put the tannic acid powder into empty gelatin capsules and then just swallow those capsules with a glass of water?? Or would this method decrease tannic acid's effectiveness against cancer?

My mother has stage IV triple negative breast cancer and she wants to add the tannic acid to her current protocol but she gets diarrhea fairly easily so she doesn't want to take the sorbitol with the tannic acid if at all possible. Or does the tannic acid have to be mixed with something that has a laxative effect in order for it to be effective?

Thanks. Chelan

Just a note to let you know that Dr, Tulio Simoncini, an Italian doctor has a cure for cancer using bicarbonate of soda. No side effects and no pain. Look him up on the web. One lady had cancer in both breasts and is free of it today. It had even gone to her lungs. She is totally healed. Good luck!
