Can Ted tell me about ACV, B. Soda, & honey mixture and is this ok for cancer.. ?? I thought I read that the B. Soda gobbles up the cancer as the cancer Thank you go after the honey and a blast of B soda will kill the cancer cell...??

I have recently lost a few close friends and family members to cancer. As such I found the following pdf to be of some help in understanding some of the 'back-office' cell interactions as to how cancer gets its foothold. It is mostly in keeping with the cancer philosophies of EC. It may also help some of your 'posters' in getting a better handle on this terrible condition. I beg to differ that these alternative herbal remedies being untested. If you want to know how well they have been tested, read up on what the doctors and pharmaceutical companies have been doing over the last 40 or so years. You will find that they have been collecting plants from all over planet earth and determining what chemicals they have and what activities those chemicals have. In other words, they have been exploring home/herbal remedies and borrowing from them just as medicine has always done. Savvy doctors were prescribing l foxglove leaf for their "weak heart" patients long before the pharmaceuticals were producing digitalis pills.

It was in a physiology class at a well known medical school in l978/9 that the instructor shared a little pearl of wisdom. It was: "From some research we have going on here, we don't know how, but for some reason poke berries throws the body into gear to fight". I just sat there & grinned because I had been taking them for the last l5 years on the advice of a little country woman who probably didn't go beyond the 3rd or 4th grade in school. Most likely the producers of Vioxx studied this plant and found one or two chemicals that had the anti-arthritis action they wanted and made a synthetic version of them that could be patented, so they could rake in huge profits from it. You probably already know that Vioxx decreased quality of life or outright killed thousands of people.

It doesn't take an Einstein to figure out that the reason poke berries safely boosts the immune system, while a synthetic version of a few of the herb's chemicals maimed or outright killed thousands of people, is because the herbal remedy still contains the fail safe chemicals that the pharmaceutical company removed from their synthetic version they marketed. The problem is that the pharmaceutical company didn't test their synthetic version before marketing it and creating havoc for too many people taking it. An aunt of mine now has the residual damage from a stroke and a pacemaker implanted, thanks to Vioxx.

If you want to broaden your mind with a little more reading, go pick up a copy of "The Green Pharmacy" by James Duke, PhD degree botanist. You can get a quick education on how well these herbal remedies (plants, many of which are labeled weeds) have been studied and tested. Even the lowly little prickly pear cactus has an amazing array of chemicals and nutrients in it.

I appreciate everything you said. You described your theories as to the cause, but in the end said nothing about the cure, except to fix your problem. If you have a practical solution for cancer.... a zillion people are waiting. Otherwise, you have just told us to do healthy things. Heck. My mom always told me to be nice and I was ........ sometimes. What was the point of your post?

In my years of practice as an N.D. I came to a conclusion as to what cancer is. I believe that understanding what cancer is will facilitate the right treatments.

Cancer is a normal process and not a malfunction.

It is a one, a singular disease that takes place in the body in order to save the body from death.

I know it sounds like a contradiction since cancer leads to death, but this is because we don't see the whole picture.

Cancer cells are produced by the immune system in locations of the body where normal cells are unable to survive.

Some times the conditions for survival for normal cells in a specific location of the body become Intolerable up to a point when the normal cells cannot live there any more.

What leads to this worsening of conditions? There are mainly three reasons:

1) A trauma to the body that leads to a long standing lack of blood/lymph/nerve supply to a specific location.
2) A chronic accumulation of toxins in the body that accumulate in a specific location.
3) A continuous irritation from external or internal source.

At the beginning the immune system creates an inflammatory process in the specific location, aimed at eliminating the accumulated toxins. It may clear the area which will go back to function normally. It can also remain inflamed at that location but it will remain stable. The accumulation of toxins may increase and as a result, the inflammation can also get worse.

As the inflammation gets worse, more and more cells are dying in that location, blood supply is restricted, the oxygen level is going down and the acidity is going up from the breakdown of proteins.

These conditions augment the cells death and create a vicious circle of dying cells and worsening conditions.

The described set of events may lead to the complete destruction (necrosis) of the organ where it take place in, and then to a quick death.

The solution made by the body is to manufacture different type of cells that can flourish in such conditions.

These special cells will take the place of the normal cells until the conditions are back to normal and then they should die, when normal cells can live there again. Or if the conditions do not improve, extend the life of the organ and that person.

What type of cells can live in such conditions?

They need to be able to live in low oxygen low blood supply and in high acidic conditions. They also should be able to replenish the blood supply to this location. They should also keep on multiplying so if some die due to the tough conditions, enough of them will survive.

When we examine cancer cells we can see that they survive and more active (malignant) the more these conditions exist:

1) cancer cells can live in conditions where oxygen is very low by not using the Krebs cycle for getting their energy (as normal cells do) and using a process called Glycolysis which does not require oxygen.

2) Cancer cells can survive in a much more acidic conditions then normal cells.

3) Since they do not need so much oxygen and can live in acidic conditions, they can live in a low blood supply level.

4) Cancer cells also produce constantly new blood veins to improve blood supply to that location.

5) Cancer cells can consume the free amino acids and other nutrient from the breaking down of cells around them.

6) Cancer cells multiply constantly so even if some are destroyed due to these conditions, others will quickly replace them.

As a result of these characteristics, cancer cells can replace normal cells in a specific location and by doing so, inhibiting the quick destruction (necrosis) of an organ.

As a rule, cancer always starts in inflamed location.

When the process of inflammation is increased very slowly the end result will be a local necrosis like we see in arthritis or emphysema which they are a localized, partial destruction of an organ. If the inflammation is more aggressive the result is cancer.

Cancer can be eliminated if we eliminate the accumulation of toxins to the area and stop the inflammatory process.

If it can not be done then at least the cancer gave us several more years to live.

An operation to remove a tumor will be effective if the source of the cancer is localized, if it is a systemic accumulation of toxins or irritation then the cancer will reappear in the same or a different location.

Word to the wise suggestion: view Mr. G. Edward Griffin's "A World Without Cancer" on Google video or read his book by the same name.

A friend of mine who was a cancer patient told me his favorite cancer preventative is green tea with tumeric and a pinch of black pepper. He takes one cup a day..I also take this not too tasty concoction. Over time I have gotten used to the taste and somehow, I kind of like the flavor of it now. My body seems to cherish it: when I am travelling I get the urge to make some. Apparently, the combination of the 3 ingredients creates a very powerful synergy.

Chemotherapy. I think they should take the word, "therapy", out of this term. It's only documented, proven benefit is with early, early stage cancers. How can thrashing your immune system improve your chances of fighting off this disease? There really is no statistical proof that chemo even improves long range prognosis in most cancers. There are some cancers that chemo has a modest track record. I would definately not shy away from Temador for brain tumors. Testicular cancer and some renal cancers are responsive to chemo.

Taxol has not turned out to be the silver bullet we hoped.

I do wish to say that a few doctors have combined chemo with DMSO and had much better results, only problem is the A.M.A. was very harsh on these doctors in spite of possitive clinical results.

Cancers also become resistant to chemo. There are two basic theories why, but it doesn't take a genious to figure out that cancers have high base metabolism and when their metabolism is slowed, chemo works less efficiently. Chemo targets rapidly dividing cells. Your immune system and your hair are rapidly dividing cells.

So, no surprise once you shrink a tumor with chemo, it stops shrinking at a certain point. And then eventually it become resistant to that chemo anyway. Why? Probably a metabolic process that detoxifies and excretes chemo. After all, our bodies metabolically detox ourselves and then excrete these toxins. The liver is a detox machine.

Cancer, born from mammilian cells then should follow suit. This means that anything we can do to disrupt cancers metabolic ability to detoxify itself, should be beneficial. I really think of chemo as a one shot proposition usually. Why should we not make this one shot as effective as humanly possible. Evidence suggests that almost all of these alternative therapies talked about here actually assist chemo, making it more effective. Cancer cells have no homeostatic mechanism for antioxidants and one study showed that the more antioxidants given with chemo, the more effective it became. A doctor will tell you not to take alternatives during chemo. Why? Because he was taught to say that. But heck, it's not his cancer! Think about it. You got one shot with chemo why wouldn't you pull out all the stops if you choose to go this route.

Why Surgery,Chemotherapy And Radiation Is Harmful For Cancer Patients?

Most doctors agreed that the best way to fight Cancer is to first remove the Cancerous parts by surgery, then use radiation therapy to eliminate the remaining Cancer cells in case they transfer and recur. You'll never hear of a natural cure in mainstream medicine, for the simple fact that natural cures are not recognized by the FDA because only synthesized compounds can be considered drugs and therefore be patented. Of course, you may include it in next month's email. I don't have much more information. I'm a survivor of Her2/neu metastatic breast disease. This is an extremely aggressive form of breast cancer. It has a 100% recurrence rate. This disease was pretty much fatal until a few years back when the drug Herceptin came on the market. Now women with this disease are living quite long. I know that some people following this forum will be turned off by the fact that I'm doing chemo, did radiation and surgery, etc. But, I'm a believer that the combination of western and alternative is the best route for me. Quantum healing is a form of channeling energy to heal yourself or others. I'm new at it, but it is relaxing and anyone can do it. I've also had a distance healing from a QiGong healer and then, of course, lots and lots of prayer. I don't remember the dates of when my friend added me to your prayer page, but all of this recurrence and disappearance of the tumors has been within two months. The tumors were quite large and affected 75% of my liver. My CEA 125 (blood tumor marker) went from 22.1 down to 4.8 after just two chemo treatments. My lungs are now completely clear.

I just wanted to take the time to say thank you to this group of fine people. I was on their prayer list a month or two ago, added by a good friend. I'm 44, with a 13 year old daughter, and a 4 year breast cancer survivor. I just found out that the extremely aggressive tumors in my lungs and liver (discovered only 2 months ago) are completely gone. I can't tell you how many people told me they added me to their prayer list at their church. I firmly believe that the combination of chemo, prayer and quantum energy work I did on myself are what has given me this remarkable recovery in such a short time. I will be sure to prayer for the Tibetans, children, seals and members on Sunday.

You are right about the water issue. Recently I want have seen major improvement to the point that lupus is no longer detectable from just doing some simple things as refraining from drinking water faucet but to use drinking bottled mineral water instead, preferably from glass bottle. In fact a condition of lupus or even cancer I have seen to improve greatly.

This issue is not just confined to the U.S., but it is occurring in many countries, if anyone really bothered to check free radical heavy metals in the drinking water with all those defective pipes and old water faucet by the time it reaches its destination the metals, bacteria and other toxins have accumulated after traveling miles of endless metal pipes, hormone altering plastics, etc.

In some countries, even if they are "developed" you just can't leave a glass water overnight, otherwise it becomes "spoiled" the next day. As a result, the cause of immunity problem is bought on by contaminated water. Some even went so far as to comment how sweet the water tastes for bottled water compared to faucet drinking water.

With lacking of analysis for dioxin, free radical heavy metals, rocket fuels, and others, I am going to assume the worse if people localy are getting sick.

Even in city where I live even with the lack of cancer, I found many places to be high in heavy metals content. Never mind about places with cancer and drinking water, that is even worse.

Therefore contaminated water where there is present cancer therefore is an immune issue, once the immune is down, viral cancer, staph infection, boils, etc. This is true whether it is autoimmunity or a sickness of cancer, or even a staph infection. You just can't cure anyone by suppressing the immune system. The real issue is to remove the cause and not just covering up the symptoms by sweeping under the rug.

If increased immunity is what you are after, the most basic issue is:

Stop drinking contaminated water, Take baking soda and lime (or lemon) formula, or Baking soda and Apple Cider vinegar formula,

To reduce fungus or staph infection or allergic skin, adding a pinch of borax is all that is needed in many cases. Borax is in my opinion a good antibiotic especially for the conditions of fungus.

Whenever cost is the major consideration and I must drink faucet water, two considerations are possible:

1. Using reverse osmosis water, and then add baking soda, potassium bicarbonate, and magnesium citrate, plus fulvic acid.

2. In cases of filtered water, I would consider at least adding 1/8 teaspoon of disodium EDTA in one liter of drinking water. It will at least remove the free radical heavy metals.

3. A weekly drinking of 6-12 drops of hydrogen peroxide, at least to remove the chemical toxins in your body. If the toxins is confirmed and I am sick. I will very likely to do this in all my drinking water for at least between 2 weeks to a month. In fact, when I first used hydrogen peroxide years ago, I was so happy that I used it for more than 2 years without a break. It is as if my chronic fatigue was eventually disappeared, along with taking baking soda and vitamin C (or lime or lemon) of course.

In a city where people drop off like flies, something simply must be done about it. We are simply sitting ducks if we just continue to do what we have always do. Habits needs to be changed.

I just wanted to let you folks know that I have 2 grown daughters who in the last few years have been having boil problems. They have had to go to the doctor and have them lanced. I have a problem with my right leg that turned into a staph infection. I have an awful scar left there now. My oldest daughter swears there is something wrong with our water here. Cancer is like an epidemic here, my Grandfather died from cancer, my Dad has bladder cancer, my Mom has outbreaks of facial skin cancer and was diagnosed with Lupus last summer. My oldest daughter has had breast cancer twice (first time at age 26), she is now 31. My son-in-law moved here from New Mexico 5 years ago and he just had surgery for testicular cancer. Hi Barbara reporting in again. I began with acv back in Jan 2007 my post was in feb 2007. My bp is still doing great. No problems to report. I continue with acv twice a day everyday. I just wanted to say how happy I am to see so many new people taking control of there own heath and trying to remove man made meds from there lives. Learning how real food can cure! I wanted to share this info - My father had cancer of the bladder 5 years ago, had bladder removed is doing fine now, but last month he went for his 5th yearly check up, all the test they do! He went to his doctor to get results and after the great almighty doctor proclaimed him cancer free for the fifth year (a milestone for cancer survivors) my 73 year old father with macular degeneration of the eyes happened to notice the date on the page it was from last year 2006! He told the Dr and they could not find this years results (still waiting after 2 weeks). They make mistakes too! While I am grateful to the dedicated team of medical professionals who saved his life, one can't help but get a little ticked off when a mistake such as this is made. You should read The Calcium Bomb: The Nanobacteria Link to Heart Disease & Cancer (Hardcover) by Douglas Mulhall (Author), Katja Hansen (Author) It is an eye opening book on a major madical problem. However trying to find a doctor who takes this seriously is like trying to extract hens teeth. I find that the medical fraternity is often a closed club and is not really interested in infomation from the "outside".especially if it comes from a patient. I am trying to piece together the treatment regimen in th ebook but am having no luck with the people named in the publication.
